Assembly Instructions

  1. Attach Coil to Lower Shaft

Insert two plastic washers into the holes on each side of the armrest. Place the armrest onto the coil's mounting point. Ensure the spring-loaded pin on the lower shaft is facing downwards. Pass the plastic bolt through the armrest and mounting point. Tighten using the plastic bolt; avoid over-tightening.

  2. Assemble Shafts

Turn the twist locks counter-clockwise to loosen. Press the spring-loaded pin on the lower shaft and insert it into the desired hole on the middle shaft until the pin clicks into place. Repeat for the middle shaft and the upper shaft. Turn the twist locks clockwise to secure the shaft positions.

  3. Attach Armrest and Handle

Position the armrest on the top of the upper shaft. Align the middle hole of the armrest with the nearest hole on the shaft, placing the armrest just below your elbow. Pass the screw through the middle of the handle, upper shaft, and armrest. Tighten the screw carefully. With the Velcro side up, thread the armrest strap through both slots of the armrest. Ensure the strap end connects outwards from your arm.

Diagram Description: Shows attaching the armrest and handle to the upper shaft, including threading the strap.

  4. Connect Coil

Wrap the coil cable around the lower and middle shafts as needed. Secure the coil cable to the shaft using the Velcro fasteners. Align the coil connector with the socket on the back of the control box and gently tighten the securing ring.

Battery Charging

EQUINOX Series detectors have a built-in, rechargeable Li-Ion battery. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use. For the fastest charge time, keep the detector switched off during charging.

  1. Connect the USB connector of the magnetic charging cable to any standard [USB port].
  2. Connect the magnetic charging connector to the socket located on the back of the detector's user interface. The Charging Status [LED indicator] will begin to flash.
  3. When charging is complete, the Charging Status [LED indicator] will remain solid.
