Safety Precautions
- Do not attempt to remove the non-user-replaceable battery. Dispose of the product at a waste electronics service center.

Operation
- Power: The FireCracker is powered by a lithium-ion polymer battery. For best results, fully charge before use. Connect the micro USB cable to the FireCracker and the standard USB connector to a power source. The blue LED stays ON while charging and turns OFF when charging is complete.
- Audio Connection: Connect via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm audio line-in cable.
- Bluetooth Connection: To pair, turn off the device, then press and hold the Multi Function Button until the indicator flashes blue and red and you hear the opening tone and "Discovering". Activate Bluetooth on your phone to search for devices, or tap your phone on the NFC sensor. Once connected, the blue LED will be solid blue. The device will automatically search for the last paired Bluetooth device on subsequent power-ups. To reset Bluetooth pairing information, press and hold the Multi Function, Volume Down, and Volume Up buttons simultaneously for over five seconds while the device is powered on and not playing audio.
- Wired Connection: Use a stereo 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect directly to your audio source via the 3.5mm audio line-in jack.
- Play/Pause: Short press the Multi Function Button to play or pause music. Some phones may require initiating a media player first.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Multi Function Button for approximately 2 seconds to power on (opening tone). Press and hold for approximately 2.5 seconds to power off ("Goodbye" tone).
- Volume Control: Briefly press or continuously hold the Volume Up or Volume Down buttons to adjust volume. A beep tone indicates maximum or minimum volume.
- Photolite: Briefly press the Photolite button to turn it on/off. It can also be used as a flashlight for up to 5 hours.
- Speakerphone Use: When paired via Bluetooth, you can make and receive calls. Short press the Multi Function Button to answer or end a call. Press and hold for 1 second to reject a call.
- Audio Priority: Bluetooth connections have the highest priority, followed by the line-in connection.
Limited Warranty
Definitions:
- Adequate Use: Personal use in conformance with laws, manufacturer recommendations, and proper electrical grounding.
- Authorized Dealer: A duly authorized reseller who purchased the product directly from Monster or an authorized party.
- Formal Warranty Claim: A claim made according to the specified section.
- Product: The listed item purchased new from an Authorized Dealer.
- Product Defect: An inadequacy existing at the time of receipt that causes failure to perform according to documentation, unless caused by misuse, accident, unauthorized modification, or external factors.
- Warranty Period: The time Monster must receive a Formal Warranty Claim, commencing from the purchase/receipt date, with specific durations defined in the Specifications Table. Claims must be made within two months of discovering a defect.
- You: The first individual purchaser of the Product in original packaging from an Authorized Dealer.
Scope of Limited Warranty:
If a Product has a defect and Monster receives a Formal Warranty Claim within the specified timeframe and before the warranty period expires, Monster will repair or replace the defective product, or refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not commercially practicable. Monster is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
General Provisions:
- Choice of Law/Jurisdiction: Governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Product was bought.
- Other Rights: This warranty grants specific legal rights which may vary by jurisdiction. It cannot be transferred or assigned.
