The included cable is a 5V1A Cord (Length 36"), Type-A to Type-C.

Product Controls & LED Lights

The speaker features the following controls and indicators:

  • 1. Microphone: For calls.
  • 2. Power LED (Red): Indicates power status.
  • 3. Power Button: Used for turning the unit on/off.
  • 4. Decrease Volume Button: Lowers volume or goes to previous track.
  • 5. Increase Volume Button: Raises volume or skips to next track.
  • 6. Bluetooth®/EZ-Sync Button: Manages Bluetooth pairing and EZ-Sync.
  • 7. Bluetooth®/EZ-Sync LED (Blue/Orange): Indicates Bluetooth and EZ-Sync status.
  • 8. Type-C USB Charge Port: For charging the speaker.

Port: The Type-C USB Charge Port is labeled as (8).

Power & Charging

Powering On/Off

  • To Turn ON: Press and hold the POWER Button (3) for 2 seconds. The unit will confirm with an LED visual.
  • To Turn OFF: Press and hold the POWER Button (3) for 3 seconds. The unit will confirm with an LED visual.

Charging

IMPORTANT: Before first use, charge for 5 hours.

  1. Connect the charge port (8) to an external power source using the included USB cable.
  2. Charging Status:
    • While charging: RED LED (3) breathes on and off slowly.
    • Low battery (≤20%): RED LED repeatedly flashes.
    • Fully charged: RED LED stays on.

Full Charge Battery Life: Up to 5 hours while powered OFF, up to 12 hours while powered ON.

Audio Features

Bluetooth Pairing

Connection Range: 30 feet (9 meters) max connection range after pairing. Devices out of range may suffer disruption or loss of signal.

  1. Place your smart device within 3 FEET (approx. 1 meter) from the speaker. Ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on your device.
  2. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth® Mode, and LED (7) will begin to blink when turned on.
  3. Select "MONSTER TRAX" from the Bluetooth® menu on your smart device.
  4. Upon successful connection, the speaker will confirm with an audible sound and LED (7) will remain solid (Blue).

Unpairing a Bluetooth Device

To unpair a device, press and hold the BLUETOOTH® Button (6) for 2 seconds. The speaker will confirm with an audible sound and LED (7) will begin to blink.

Bluetooth Audio Functions

  • Play/Pause Music: Press the BLUETOOTH® Button (6).
  • Next Track: Press and hold the INCREASE VOLUME Button (5) for 2 seconds.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the DECREASE VOLUME Button (4) for 2 seconds.

EZ-Sync Pairing (Stereo Pairing)

This feature allows you to pair two TRAX speakers for stereo sound.

  1. Pairing the First Speaker (MASTER A): Follow the standard Bluetooth® Pairing steps to connect one TRAX speaker to your audio device. This speaker becomes MASTER (A).
  2. Turning on the Second Speaker (SLAVE B): Turn on a second TRAX speaker and place it in close proximity to MASTER (A).
  3. Initiating EZ-Sync: On MASTER (A), double-click the BLUETOOTH® Button (6) to enter EZ-Sync search mode. The unit will make an audio confirmation.
  4. Confirmation: Once paired, MASTER (A)'s BLUETOOTH® LED (7) will remain Blue, and SLAVE (B)'s LED (7) will stay on in Orange. The units will confirm synchronization audibly.

Unpairing EZ-Sync Speakers

To unpair the speakers, double-click the BLUETOOTH® Button (6) on either unit.

Call Connectivity

  • Answer Phone Calls: While connected to Bluetooth, press the BLUETOOTH® Button (6).
  • Reject Phone Calls: Press and hold the BLUETOOTH® Button (6) for 2 seconds.

Troubleshooting

  • Speaker is not powering on:
    • Ensure the POWER ADAPTER is fully inserted.
    • Reset the speaker by turning the power OFF, then back ON.
    • Unplug the POWER ADAPTER, then plug it back in.
  • Buttons are not responding:
    • Reset the speaker by turning the power OFF, then back ON.
    • Unplug the POWER ADAPTER, then plug it back in.
  • No music is playing:
    • Ensure the speaker is set to the same audio source as your device.
    • Ensure the VOLUME level is high enough on both your audio device and the speaker.
  • Bluetooth audio quality is poor:
    • Move your music device closer to the speaker.
    • Remove objects that may be interfering with the wireless connection.
  • Bluetooth device is not pairing:
    • Verify that the speaker and your device have BLUETOOTH® mode active.
    • Ensure the speaker and/or your device is not already paired with another device.
    • Check that the speaker is in pairing mode.
    • Turn the speaker OFF, and then back ON. Press and hold the BLUETOOTH® button to manually enter pairing mode.

Important Safety Instructions

  5. This apparatus can be used in wet location conditions after disconnecting the AC Mains supply and closing the waterproof cap for the AC inlet. Do not use while charging or near water/moisture (e.g., wet basement, swimming pool).
  6. Clean only with a dry cloth.
  7. Do not block ventilation openings; install according to manufacturer's instructions.
  8. Do not install near heat sources (radiations, heat registers, stoves, amplifiers).
  9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of polarized or grounding plugs. Consult an electrician if the plug does not fit your outlet.
  10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.
  11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  12. Use only with specified carts, stands, tripods, brackets, or tables. Use caution when moving combinations to avoid tip-over injuries.
  13. Unplug during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  15. The mains plug is the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable.
  16. Do not install in confined spaces without adequate ventilation.
  17. No naked flame sources (e.g., candles) should be placed on the apparatus.
  18. Pay attention to environmental aspects of battery disposal.

WARNING: Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat (sunshine, fire, etc.).

CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Protective Earthing: The apparatus should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. To avoid exceeding FCC radio frequency exposure limits, human proximity to the antenna shall not be less than 20cm (8 inches) during normal operation.

Safety Symbols and Warnings

Lightning Bolt Symbol: Indicates the presence of insulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may pose a risk of electric shock.

Exclamation Point Symbol: Alerts the user to important operation and maintenance instructions in the accompanying literature.

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - DO NOT OPEN. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover or back. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
