Step 1

Two side frame pieces are joined by a crossbar. Four plastic brackets (122620) are attached to the bottom of the frame pieces using screws (128758). An inset shows a close-up of a screw being inserted into a bracket.

• Attach the two main frame pieces using the crossbar.
• Secure four plastic brackets (122620) to the bottom of the frame using four long screws (128758) and the allen key (10083377).

Step 2

Dowels are inserted into pre-drilled holes on the frame pieces. Two dowels (101357) are inserted into the top of the side frames, and eighteen dowels (101350) are inserted into the backrest support pieces.

• Insert two dowels (101357) into the designated holes on the top of each side frame.
• Insert eighteen dowels (101350) into the designated holes on the backrest support pieces.

Step 3

The backrest support pieces, now with dowels inserted, are attached to the main frame. The chair frame is shown upside down. A close-up shows the dowels aligning with holes and screws (101350) being used to secure the backrest slats, with 16 screws indicated.

• Align the backrest support pieces with the dowels on the frame.
• Secure the backrest supports using sixteen short screws (101350) and the allen key (10083377).

Step 4

The partially assembled chair frame is flipped over.

• Carefully flip the chair frame upright.

Step 5

The seat support pieces are attached to the frame. An inset shows a close-up of a long screw (128758) being used with the allen key (10083377) to attach the seat supports to the frame.

• Attach the seat support pieces to the main frame using four long screws (128758) and the allen key (10083377).

Step 6

The chair is shown upside down again. The legs are attached to the frame. An inset shows a close-up of a short screw (10042205) being used with the allen key (10083377) to attach the legs.

• Attach the legs to the chair frame using two short screws (10042205) per leg and the allen key (10083377).

Step 7

The chair is shown upright. The final tightening of screws is indicated. An inset shows a close-up of a seat screw (122925) being inserted into the seat area, with four screws indicated.

• Turn the chair upright.
• Secure the seat area using four seat screws (122925) and the allen key (10083377).
