DOD Mini Volume Pedal Owner's Manual

DOD Mini Volume Pedal Owner's Manual

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the DOD Mini Volume Pedal, a miniature passive pedal that offers you full volume control without taking up valuable space on your pedalboard.

Features

  • Compact form factor occupies minimal pedalboard space
  • Long-throw pedal for full range of control
  • High-quality, high-cycle 500 kΩ potentiometer for smooth volume adjustments
  • Integrated treble bleed circuit prevents treble loss at lower volume settings
  • Removable rubber feet for pedalboard mounting
  • 1/4" TS input and output jacks
  • Non-slip pedal surface
  • Rugged construction

Configuration

  1. Turn off your amplifier, then connect your cables (see connection diagram below).
  2. Turn down your amplifier's volume, press the toe of the DOD Mini Volume Pedal down, then turn on your amplifier.
  3. Slowly increase your amplifier's volume until you reach your desired level.

Connection Diagram

The diagram shows a typical setup: a guitar connects to the 'In' jack of the DOD Mini Volume Pedal. The 'Out' jack of the pedal connects to the input of a series of 'Effect Pedals'. The output of the effect pedals then connects to an amplifier. The text "USE ONLY UNBALANCED TS CABLES" is displayed below the diagram.

***Important Usage Note***

The two hex screws on the bottom of the pedal are part of the spring-loaded adjustment mechanism. If play develops over time, slightly loosen these screws and then retighten them. This will ensure the main drive gear tightens against the pedal gear. Do not remove these screws or operate the pedal while the screws are loose, as this can cause gear misalignment and pedal malfunction. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the pedal. The pedal should not be opened under any circumstances.
