Shielded wall luminaire with high protection class, suitable for various lighting applications. Features a construction of die-cast aluminium and an impact-resistant synthetic diffuser made of BEGA NeoGlass®.

Diagram Descriptions

Dimensional Drawing: The luminaire is depicted with key dimensions. The main body has a width of approximately 125 mm, a height of 210 mm, and extends about 30 mm from the wall. Safety and Installation

Safety:

• Installation and operation are subject to national safety regulations.
• Installation and commissioning must be performed by a qualified electrician only.
• The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or installation.
• Any subsequent modifications render the modifier the manufacturer.

Overvoltage Protection:

• Electronic components are protected against overvoltage per DIN EN 61547.
• For additional protection against transients, separate overvoltage protection components are recommended (available at www.bega.com).
• Optimal protection is achieved using bounce-free switching contacts, such as the BEGA 71320 electronic relay.

Installation Procedure:

1. LEDs are high-quality electronic components; avoid touching the light output opening directly during installation or relamping.
2. Loosen screws.
3. Remove luminaire top and polycarbonate diffuser with gasket.
4. Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire base.
5. Observe the luminaire base's position of use: "[arrow down]".
6. Fix the luminaire base to the mounting surface using supplied or suitable fixing material. Ensure supplied gasket rings are used.
7. Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
8. To ensure maximum service life of electrical components, place the enclosed desiccant pouch inside the luminaire. Remove it from its packaging and position it as marked by the red label just before closing the luminaire.
9. Ensure the gasket is correctly seated.
10. Re-attach the polycarbonate diffuser with gasket and the luminaire top.
11. Tighten screws evenly and securely.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Regularly clean dirt and debris with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth kept damp.
• Use water with a little mild dishwashing detergent.
• For lacquered surfaces, use the BEGA Lacquer Care Set 71 179.
• Avoid cleaning agents containing solvents and high-pressure cleaners.

LED Module Replacement

• Module designation is noted on a separate label or the module's underside.
• BEGA replacement modules match original light color and output.
• Replacement can be done by qualified persons using standard tools.
• Disconnect power, open luminaire.
• Follow the specific LED module installation instructions.
• Inspect and replace luminaire gaskets if necessary.
• Replace any defective glass.
• Close the luminaire.
