How to Identify Your Watch Caliber:
The caliber number is a 4-digit number located to the left of the hyphen on the case back of your watch. For example, in "V145-0A00", the caliber is "V145".
How to Charge and Start the Watch
When starting the watch or if the rechargeable battery charge is very low, charge the watch sufficiently by placing it in light.
Instant Start Function:
If exposed to sunlight or strong artificial light (over 1000 lux), the watch starts immediately, and the second hand moves in 2-second intervals.
Steps to Charge:
- Place the watch under sunlight or strong artificial light.
- Keep the watch in light until the second hand moves in 1-second intervals.
- Once the watch has started after a complete stop, set the date and time before wearing it. Refer to the "Guide to Charging Time/Accuracy" section.
Notes on Charging:
- If your watch has a second hand, after activating the instant start function by placing it in light, the second hand will move in 2-second intervals initially because the rechargeable battery's stored energy is insufficient. The watch may stop if removed from light.
- It is not necessary to fully charge the watch. However, it is important to charge it well, especially for the initial charge.
Warning: Precautions for Charging
- When charging, do not place the watch too close to light sources such as flash units, projectors, or incandescent lamps, as this may cause excessive temperature rise and damage internal parts. ⚠️
- When charging the watch under sunlight, do not leave it on car dashboards, etc., as this may cause excessive temperature rise.
- When charging the watch, ensure the watch temperature does not exceed 50°C (for calibers V110, V145, V181, V182).
- When charging the watch, ensure the watch temperature does not exceed 60°C (for calibers V111, V114, V115, V116, V117, V137, V147, V157, V158, V187).

- Push the crown back to its normal position in accordance with the time signal.
Notes and Guide to Charging Time/Accuracy
Important Notes:
- Do not set the date between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. Otherwise, the date may not change correctly. If you need to set the date during this interval, first set the time to any time outside this interval, set the date, and then reset the correct time.
- When setting the hour hand, ensure the AM/PM is set correctly. The watch is designed so that the date changes once every 24 hours. Turn the hands past the 12 o'clock mark to determine if the watch is set to AM or PM. If the date changes, it is AM. If the date does not change, it is PM.
- When setting the minute hand, first set it 4-5 minutes ahead of the desired time, then turn it back to the exact time.
- The date needs to be adjusted at the end of February and for 30-day months.

Power Supply Memo and Power Saving Features
Power Supply Memo:
- These watches use a rechargeable battery, which differs from standard silver-oxide batteries. Unlike disposable batteries, this rechargeable battery can be recharged repeatedly.
- The effectiveness of the rechargeable battery's rechargeability may gradually decrease over time due to factors such as long-term use or operating conditions. Degraded mechanical parts or decomposed oils can also shorten the recharge cycles. If the rechargeable battery's effectiveness decreases, the watch requires servicing.
Warning Regarding Battery:
- Do not attempt to remove the rechargeable battery yourself. Battery replacement requires professional knowledge and skills. Please consult a watch shop for battery replacement. ⚠️
- Installing a standard silver-oxide battery may cause overheating, leading to fire or explosion.
Power Saving Warning Function:
For models equipped with a second hand: When the rechargeable battery's stored energy falls to a critically low level, the second hand moves in 2-second intervals instead of the normal 1-second interval (this function is not available on all calibers). The watch continues to display the correct time even when the second hand moves in 2-second intervals.
In such cases, charge the watch as soon as possible by placing it in light. Otherwise, the watch may stop approximately 3 days later. (Refer to "How to Charge and Start the Watch" for charging instructions).
Tips to Prevent Power Depletion:
- When wearing the watch, ensure it is not covered by clothing.
- When the watch is not in use, place it in a well-lit place for as long as possible.
How to Operate the Crown with Screw Lock (For models with a screw-lock crown):
- To unscrew the crown: Turn the crown counter-clockwise. (Then pull out the crown to set the time/calendar).
- To screw in the crown: With the crown in the normal position, push it in and turn it clockwise.
Rotating Bezel
The rotating bezel can indicate up to 60 minutes of elapsed time.
- Turn the rotating bezel to align the [start marker] with the minute hand.
- Read the elapsed time on the rotating bezel indicated by the minute hand.
Note: In some models, the rotating bezel only rotates counter-clockwise.
