About Ultrasound
Ultrasonic waves are nearly silent to humans and most animals. Most pests hear sounds in the ultrasonic range. Household pests are repelled because they cannot adapt to the constantly changing array of ultrasonic waves emitted by the unit. The wave signals disrupt the pests' nervous system, greatly affecting their feeding and communication habits, thereby forcing them to leave the area. This unit may be used around humans, and non-rodent pets such as dogs, cats, birds and fish.
- Results are based on independent laboratory tests.
- Ultrasound loses its intensity as it travels and is absorbed by soft objects.
- Ultrasound cannot reach nesting and feeding places behind walls, under floors or within cracks.
- Multiple units may be necessary for larger rooms.
Caution: Keep unit away from pet tarantulas, mice, hamsters and gerbils.
How to Use
This product is for indoor use only. Under optimal conditions, the 100-400 series units cover a medium-size room and the 500-700 series units cover a large room.
- Plug unit into an unobstructed AC electrical wall outlet. The unit functions automatically as indicated by the illuminated LED light.
- Operate the unit 24 hours a day, occasionally moving the unit to a different location as necessary.
Note: For best results, place additional units in adjacent rooms and on each level of the dwelling, moving the unit to a different location as necessary. It may take up to 2 weeks to see results. Continue to use to keep pests from returning. Certain pests may adjust to ultrasound and return to their nesting or feeding areas, even in the presence of an ultrasonic product.

- Night Light: Certain models have a switch for a night light. To illuminate, place the switch in the ON position.
- Extra outlet: Certain models are designed with an extra outlet that enables you to plug any 110 VAC appliance directly into the unit. (Should not exceed 15 amps. Refer to specific appliance for amp limits.)
Caution: This unit should not be used in close proximity to flammable liquids.
Care and Cleaning
- Do not immerse unit in water or any other liquid.
- Unplug before cleaning. To clean the exterior, wipe unit with a soft dry cloth.
- The unit requires no maintenance or refills.
- No operator/user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing questions to the contact numbers provided.
