Product Overview
This heavy-duty electronic pest repeller is designed for indoor use to effectively repel a variety of common household pests.
- Repels mice, rats, cockroaches, spiders, scorpions, and other pests.
How It Works
About Ultrasound
Ultrasonic waves are emitted by the unit. These waves are nearly silent to humans and most animals but are audible to pests. The constantly changing array of ultrasonic waves disrupts the pests' nervous system, affecting their feeding and communication habits, thereby forcing them to leave the area. This unit is safe for use around humans and non-rodent pets such as dogs, cats, birds, and fish.
- Results are based on independent laboratory tests.
- Ultrasound intensity decreases with distance and is absorbed by soft objects.
- Ultrasound cannot reach nesting and feeding places behind walls, under floors, or within cracks.
- Multiple units may be necessary for larger rooms.
Caution: Keep unit away from pet tarantulas, mice, hamsters, gerbils, and rabbits.
About Sonic Sound
Sonic sound waves are low-frequency, audible sounds that travel further than ultrasonic waves. They are effective in repelling larger pests such as rats and can protect areas up to 400 square feet.
Caution: Prolonged exposure to the unit in loud and medium sonic modes is not recommended for pets in a confined area, as it may also be irritating to humans.
How to Use
This product is for indoor use only. Under optimal conditions, the heavy-duty performance of the 1000 series units covers an extra-large room (up to 400 square feet). Place the unit on a flat surface. Operate the pest repeller continuously, 24 hours a day, occasionally moving it to a different location.
Note: For best results, place additional units in adjacent rooms and on each level of the dwelling. It may take up to 2 weeks to see results. Continue to use the unit to keep pests from returning.
