Introduction

This electronic pest repeller is designed to repel mice, cockroaches, spiders, and other pests using ultrasonic waves. These waves are nearly silent to humans and most animals, but disrupt the nervous system and habits of household pests, encouraging them to leave the area.

The unit can be used around humans and non-rodent pets such as dogs, cats, birds, and fish.

Note: Results are based on independent laboratory tests.

Important Considerations:

  • Ultrasound intensity decreases with distance and is absorbed by soft objects.
  • Ultrasound cannot penetrate walls, floors, or cracks to reach nesting or feeding areas.
  • Multiple units may be necessary for larger rooms.

Caution: Keep the unit away from pet tarantulas, mice, hamsters, and gerbils.

Operation Modes

Using the Adapter

  1. Attach the unit to the included power adapter cord via the connector jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the transformer into an AC electrical wall outlet.
  3. Select a user mode using the mode setting switch. The unit is operational when set to "A" (insects) or "B" (rodents), indicated by an illuminated LED.

Caution: Use only the provided adapter.

Using Battery Power (Certain Models)

This unit requires a 9-volt alkaline battery.

  1. To install the battery, slide the cover in the direction of the arrow [slide-cover-arrow].
  2. Connect the positive and negative leads to the corresponding battery terminals.
  3. Replace the cover.

Typical battery life is 2-4 days when operating continuously for 24 hours a day.

How to Use

This product is for indoor use only. Under optimal conditions, the 800-900 series units cover an extra-large room. Operate the pest repeller continuously, 24 hours a day, occasionally moving it to a different location.

For Best Results: Place additional units in adjacent rooms and on each level of the dwelling. It may take up to 2 weeks to see results. Continue use to prevent pests from returning, as some may adapt to ultrasound.

Night Light: Certain models feature a night light. To activate, place the switch in the ON position.

Caution: Do not use the unit near flammable liquids.

Switch Settings

Mode "A" for Insects

  1. Set the switch to Mode A.
  2. Place the unit six inches to two feet above the floor.

Mode "B" for Rodents

  1. Set the switch to Mode B.
  2. Place the unit anywhere from floor level up to three feet high in areas where rodents are most active.

Care and Cleaning

  • Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
  • Unplug the adapter before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
  • The unit requires no maintenance or refills.
