Diagram Description: An exploded view showing the components of the shelving unit: five shelves (A), four top posts (B), four bottom posts (C), four foot levelers (D), four threaded post jointers (E), and twenty plastic sleeves (F).
Assembly Instructions
Note: Discard the black plastic spacers. These are used to separate the shelves for shipping purposes. Assemble on a flat surface. A piece of cardboard is recommended to keep the product from being scratched during assembly. Two people are recommended for assembly.
Step 1: Foot Leveler Assembly
Screw four foot levelers (D) clockwise into the bottom of four bottom posts (C).
Diagram Description (Fig. 1): Illustration showing four bottom posts (C) and four foot levelers (D). An inset shows a close-up of a foot leveler (D) being screwed clockwise into the bottom of a bottom post (C).
Step 2: First and Second Shelf Assembly
Attach four plastic sleeves (F) to the appropriate bottom posts (C). The post has a number marking which can help identify the height. Make sure the four plastic sleeves (F) are installed on the bottom posts (C) with the same number. Ensure the arrows on the plastic sleeves should point upwards. The plastic sleeves must be at the same height for each post to ensure the shelf sits on the sleeves levelly.
Slide the first shelf (A) down from the top of the posts and onto the plastic sleeves (F). Push down on each corner of the shelf, ensuring that the shelf is in the fully locked position.
Repeat for the second shelf (A).
Diagram Description (Fig. 2 & 3): Figure 2 shows a bottom post (C) with plastic sleeves (F) being attached, highlighting the number marking and upward arrow on the sleeve. Figure 3 shows two shelves (A) placed onto the bottom posts (C) with plastic sleeves (F) attached, with arrows indicating pushing down on the shelf corners to lock them.
Step 3: Top Post Assembly
Screw four top posts (B) into four bottom posts (C) tightly together clockwise.
Diagram Description (Fig. 4): Illustration showing four top posts (B) being screwed clockwise into the top of four bottom posts (C), which are already assembled with shelves. An inset shows a close-up of the connection point with numbered markings on the posts.
Step 4: Third, Fourth and Fifth Shelves Assembly
Repeat Step 2 to install the third, fourth, and fifth shelves.
Place cardboard over the corners of each shelf and gently tap down with a rubber mallet (or similar tool) until the shelf is level.
Diagram Description (Fig. 5): Illustration showing the fully assembled five-tier shelving unit. An inset shows a shelf (A) being leveled with a rubber mallet and cardboard placed on the corner.
