Assembly Steps

Step 1: Prepare Bed Base Units

Take two of the main bed base units. Attach the side support beams to the end pieces using 3 bolts (Part 100229) per connection. Tighten these bolts using the Allen key (Part 100006). The diagram shows the correct orientation for assembly [ ✔️ ].

Step 2: Join Bed Base Units

Connect the two prepared bed base units together in the center. Secure them by inserting 3 bolts (Part 100229) on each side and tightening them with the Allen key (Part 100006). The detail view illustrates the correct insertion and tightening of the bolts [ ✔️ ]. Avoid over-tightening [ ❌ ].

Step 3: Insert Slats (Part 1)

Begin inserting the slats (20x) into the designated holders along the bed base frame. The diagram shows the slats being pushed into place with the correct orientation [ ✔️ ].

Step 4: Insert Slats (Part 2)

Continue inserting the remaining slats into their holders. The close-up views illustrate how to correctly position and secure each slat into the frame's plastic holders [ ✔️ ]. Arrows indicate the direction of insertion [ ➡️ ].

Step 5: Final Slat Insertion

Complete the insertion of all slats. The final close-up view demonstrates the correct way to ensure the slats are fully seated and secured in their holders [ ✔️ ].

Step 6: Attach Central Support Beams

Attach the central support beams (4x) to the bed base frame. Use the Allen key (Part 100006) and 3 bolts (Part 100229) for each connection point, as shown in the detail view [ ✔️ ].

Step 7: Secure Webbing/Straps

Secure the webbing/straps (Part 139221) to the underside of the bed base frame. Use 4 screws (Part 109049) and 4 washers (Part 100823) for this step. The diagram indicates the attachment points and the correct use of screws and washers [ ✔️ ].

Final Placement

The assembled LÖNSET slatted bed base is now ready to be placed into your bed frame. The diagram shows the bed base being lowered into a bed frame [ ⬇️ ].
