Step 1: Attach Central Support Bar
Action: Align the central support bar with the pre-drilled holes on the inner side of the side rails. Secure the central support bar to each side rail using three (3x) of the long screws (100229) and the provided Allen key (100006). Tighten screws securely but do not overtighten.

Step 2: Attach Second Side Rail
Action: Attach the second side rail to the other end of the central support bar using the same method as Step 1. Use three (3x) more long screws (100229) and the Allen key. Ensure the plastic slat holders on both side rails are facing inwards and upwards, ready to receive the wooden slats.

Step 3: Insert Wooden Slats
Action: Take the wooden slats (10x). Starting from one end, insert each slat into the corresponding plastic holders on the side rails. Push the slat firmly until it clicks or sits securely in place. Ensure the slats are oriented correctly, with the slightly curved side facing upwards.

Step 4: Continue Inserting Slats
Action: Continue inserting the remaining wooden slats, spacing them evenly across the width of the bed frame. Ensure each slat is properly seated in its holders.

Step 5: Final Slat Placement
Action: Insert the final wooden slats. Ensure all slats are evenly distributed and securely fitted into their respective holders.

Step 6: Prepare for Placement
Action: The slatted bed base is now assembled. It may be presented in a folded or ready-to-place configuration.

Step 7: Secure Base to Bed Frame
Action: Place the assembled slatted bed base into your bed frame. Align the base with the frame's support ledges. Secure the base to the bed frame using the two (2x) short screws (109049) and two (2x) washers (100823) provided. Insert the screws through the designated holes in the base frame and into the bed frame, using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Arrows [arrow] indicate the direction of attachment. Measurements 'X' are shown on the bed frame, indicating the placement points for the base.
Final Placement
Action: Ensure the slatted bed base is correctly positioned and secured within the bed frame. The base should sit level and provide even support for the mattress.
