Assembly Overview

This document provides instructions for assembling the IKEA LÖNSET slatted bed base. Please ensure all parts are present before beginning.

3x Frame side pieces

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Attach First Frame Side

Connect one of the frame side pieces to the two central support beams. Use three screws (Part #100229) and the Allen key (Part #100006). Ensure the side piece is oriented correctly for the slats to face upwards.

Step 2: Attach Second Frame Side

Attach the second frame side piece to the opposite ends of the central support beams. Use three screws (Part #100229) and the Allen key. The diagram shows correct and incorrect methods for securing the screws.

Step 3: Insert Wooden Slats

Begin inserting the curved wooden slats into the plastic holders that are attached to the frame side pieces. Push each slat firmly into its designated holder. Ensure the slats are positioned correctly.

Step 4: Continue Inserting Slats

Continue the process of inserting the remaining wooden slats into their respective plastic holders along the frame.

Step 5: Complete Slat Insertion

Ensure all wooden slats are fully inserted into their holders across the entire width of the bed base.
