The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING:
Follow all instructions for child safety. Keep instructions for reference.
WARNING:
Failure to follow instructions may result in serious injury or death. Avoid injury from falling or sliding out; always use the safety harness and ensure children are properly positioned.
WARNING:
Never leave children unattended.
WARNING:
Be careful when folding/unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION:
This stroller is designed for up to 2 children only. Exceeding this limit can cause instability and injury. Children must be at least 6 months old and able to sit upright unassisted.
CAUTION:
Purses, shopping bags, etc., can affect balance and create hazardous conditions.
CAUTION:
Ensure the stroller is fully opened and locked before allowing a child near it.
- Max weight in child tray: 5 lb (2.26 kg).
- Max weight in soft parent organizer: 2 lb (0.90 kg).
- Max weight capacity per child: 55 lb (24.94 kg).
- Max total weight capacity (with accessories): 110 lb (49.89 kg). Exceeding limits can cause excessive wear and hazardous instability.
NEVER:
- Use on stairways or escalators.
- Use with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles.
- Allow children to use as a toy.
Cleaning: Use mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
Maintenance: Regularly check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed. Discontinue use if malfunctioning or damaged.
Assembly Instructions
Frame Setup
1) Release the fold latch. Unfold the stroller frame by pulling the handle upward until it clicks into the locked position. The RED indicator on the handle should not be visible when fully open. If visible, check the open position lock is engaged.
Front Wheels
2) Install front wheels: Insert the front wheel axle pin into the wheel hub until the wheel locks firmly. Repeat for the other side. Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached.
Rear Axle-Wheels
3) Attach rear axle and wheels: Position stroller with rear leg tubes upward. Place the rear axle with wheels over the rear legs and apply downward pressure on both sides until they lock into place.
NOTE: Ensure wheels lock properly. If not, contact customer service.
Soft Parent Organizer
4) Strap in the Soft Parent Organizer: Use the hook and loop to hang the organizer onto the stroller handle. Follow illustrations 1-3. Fasten tightly.
Child Tray
5) Attach child tray: Align the tray with the corresponding slots on the stroller frame. Slide down until locked into place. Check that the tray is secure before use.
Canopy
6) Install the canopy: Insert the canopy frame into the designated slots on the child tray.
To open the canopy: Use the strap and snap closure behind the main fold mechanism to anchor the canopy. Spread both sides firmly.
Install mosquito net: Unzip the net from its pocket. Stretch it around the top edge of the frame and hook each corner to the circle tabs. Repeat for all four tabs.
To store away the mosquito net: Lift the elastic end, roll toward the canopy, and connect the zipper to the track. Tuck and zip sections.
To remove the canopy: Press the tab on each end and lift the canopy from the bottom slots of the child tray.
To remove the child tray: Push tabs outward and pull out the tray. The canopy can also be installed without the child tray.
Handle Storage
7) To use the handle: Locate the handle underneath the frame, press the release button, and pull the bar out. Rotate to the desired position.
To put away the handle: Reverse the step, push the handle in until it clicks. Ensure it rests on the storage hooks.
Folding the Stroller
8) Close the canopy by reversing the opening step.
To use the double lock feature: Push the safety lock up, lift the trigger, and pull both triggers together.
Push down on the stroller handle until completely folded. Ensure the fold latch clicks.
For a compact fold, ensure the handle is pushed fully forward.
Unfolding the Stroller
9) Release the fold latch. Unfold the stroller frame by pulling the handle upward until it clicks into the locked position. Check the RED indicator is not visible.
Safety Harness
WARNING:
Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.
STRANGULATION HAZARD:
Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave child in seat when straps are loose or undone.
10) Child Tray and Harness Use: The child tray is not designed to hold the child. Stay near and watch the child. NEVER leave child unattended.
- Place the crotch strap between child's legs. Insert harness buckles into the center clasp.
- NOTE: Use top slots only with Baby Trend Seat 2 Mat accessory (sold separately). Adjust waist straps for comfort and safety. Straps should fit snugly.
To Release Safety Belt: Push the button on the center clasp; buckles will pop free.
Brakes
WARNING:
Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent rolling. NEVER leave unattended on a hill or incline.
12) Engage brakes: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. You may need to slightly move the stroller forward or backward to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster. Check that brakes are applied correctly and the stroller does not move.
To release: Gently lift the brake lever.
Accessories: Car Seat Adapter
WARNING:
Refer to car seat manual for maximum weight in adapter. Ensure adapter is securely attached before use. Tray and/or Canopy CANNOT be used with the adapter.
CAUTION:
Always use the safety belt to secure the car seat.
Installation:
13) Install adapter: Unfold adapter, place on a flat surface with straps down. Connect adapter bars. Ensure pins click into holes. Flip adapter with straps up. Ensure straps and D-rings are attached to the side bar. Open clips on adapter sides, open flaps on wagon cover to expose bar connection. Align clips to bar and press. Close clips firmly from inside.
14) Removal: Wrap thumbs over wagon frame, use fingers to apply pressure on clip to release from bar.
15) Infant Car Seat Installation: Place car seat onto adapter. Ensure front of car seat faces same direction as adapter buckle. Ensure car seat stoppers rest on adapter bar.
- Strap safety belts through the belt path on the car seat and connect buckles. Tighten strap for a snug fit.
- Tighten bottom support straps by pulling back on the loop and sliding the adjuster forward.
- NOTE: Safety Belt MUST ALWAYS be installed through the Belt Path before use.
- REMOVAL: Release safety strap, reverse step 15, then follow step 14.
Maintenance
Wagon Fabric
16) Detach fabric: For cleaning or replacement, unzip from front and rear of wagon frame. Remove D-Rings straps from fabric near frames to unthread harness straps. Remove screws on underside of frame.
Reattach fabric: Realign fabric to frames. Insert D-Ring straps through slots and secure with D-Ring. Ensure zippers are zipped and hook and loop fasteners are attached.
NOTE: Regularly check for worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair as needed.
Rear Axle Wheel Removal
17) Release rear wheel assembly: Push rear wheel release. Wheel detaches from bushing. If replacing rear axle, press pin on each side behind wheel hub and pull axle out.
Adapter Fabric
18) Remove fabric: Use hook and loop fasteners on underside of adapter bar. To reattach, wrap panels over bar and attach with hook and loop.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning Seat Pad: Spot clean only. Surface wash small spots with mild soap and water. Rinse with water. Wipe or air dry.
- Cleaning Stroller: Surface wash frame, plastic parts, and fabric with mild soap and water. Wipe with water to remove soap solution. Wipe or air dry.
- Regularly check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
