The Baby Trend warranty covers workmanship defects within 1 year of purchase. Misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or alteration/removal of the serial number invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the end user's sole responsibility.

Assembly Instructions

Important Safety Notes

  • IMPORTANT: Follow instructions carefully for safe operation. Keep for future reference.
  • IMPORTANT: Before assembly and each use, inspect for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Never use if parts are missing or broken.
  • IMPORTANT: Adult assembly required. Keep children away during unpacking and assembly.

Parts List

Verify you have all parts before assembling:

  • Canopy with Mosquito Net (Dosel con Mosquitera)
  • Soft Parent Organizer (Organizador flexible para padres)
  • Child Tray (Bandeja para niños)
  • Front Wheels (Ruedas delantera)
  • Rear Axle and (2) Wheels (Eje trasero y (2) Ruedas)
  • Wagon Frame (Marco de vagón)
  • Car Seat Adapter - Fabric Cover (Adaptador de la sillita para el automóvil - Cubierta de tela) - Visit babytrend.com for compatibility chart.
  • Stroller Board / Ride-On Board Accessory (Sold Separately) - Visit babytrend.com.

Frame Setup

  1. Release the fold latch.
  2. Unfold the stroller frame by pulling the stroller handle upward until it clicks into the locked position. The RED indicator on the handle should not be visible when the stroller is fully open. If the RED indicator is visible, check that the open position lock is engaged.

Front Wheels Installation

  1. Insert the front wheel axle pin into the wheel hub until the wheel locks firmly. Repeat for the other side. Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached.

Rear Axle and Wheels Installation

  1. Position the stroller with rear leg tubes facing upward.
  2. Place the rear axle with wheels over the rear legs and apply downward pressure on both sides until both sides lock into place.

Soft Parent Organizer Installation

  1. Strap the Soft Parent Organizer: Use the hook and loop to hang the organizer onto the stroller handle. Ensure it is fastened tightly.

Child Tray Installation

  1. Attach the child tray by aligning the corresponding slots on the stroller frame. Slide down into position until locked. Check that the tray is secure before use.

Canopy Installation

  1. Install the canopy frame into the designated slots on the child tray.
  2. To open the canopy: Use the strap and snap closure behind the main fold mechanism to anchor the canopy. Firmly spread out both sides.
  3. Install mosquito net: Unzip and pull out the net from the storage pocket. Stretch the net around the top edge of the frame and hook each corner to the circle tabs. Repeat for the other side and ensure all 4 tabs are connected.
  4. To store the mosquito net: Lift the net at the elastic end and roll towards the canopy. Locate the zipper at the canopy end and connect it to the track. Tuck the canopy into the pocket while zipping. Tuck and zip in sections.
  5. To remove the canopy: Press the tab on each end and lift the entire canopy from the bottom slots.
  6. To remove the child tray: Push the tabs outward and pull out the tray. The canopy can also be installed without the child tray by inserting the ends into holes.

Handle Storage

  1. To use the handle: Locate it underneath the frame, press the release button, and pull the bar completely out. Rotate up to the desired position.
  2. To put it away: Reverse the previous step, pushing the handle completely in until it clicks. Ensure the handle rests on the storage hooks.

Folding the Stroller

  1. Close the canopy.
  2. To use the double lock feature: Push the safety lock up, lift the trigger to hold it in place, then pull both triggers together.
  3. Push down on the stroller handle until the stroller is completely folded. Ensure the fold latch clicks and secures the stroller closed.

Unfolding the Stroller

  1. Release the fold latch.
  2. Unfold the stroller frame by pulling the handle upward until it clicks into the locked position. The RED indicator on the handle should not be visible when fully open. If visible, check that the open position lock is engaged.

Safety Information

General Warnings

  • WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.
  • STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave child in seat when straps are loose or undone.
  • Never leave children unattended.
  • Care must be taken when folding and unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.

Usage Precautions

  • CAUTION: NEVER run or jog with this stroller.
  • This stroller is designed for up to 2 children only.
  • Children must be at least 6 months old and able to sit upright unassisted.
  • Do not hang bags or parcels on the stroller, as this can affect balance.
  • Ensure the stroller is fully opened and locked before allowing a child near it.
  • Weight Limits:
    • Child Tray: 5 lbs (2.26 kg)
    • Soft Parent Organizer: 2 lbs (0.90 kg)
    • Per Child: 55 lbs (24.94 kg)
    • Total (with accessories): 110 lbs (49.89 kg)
  • NEVER use on stairways or escalators.
  • NEVER use with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles.
  • NEVER allow the stroller to be used as a toy.

Cleaning

  • Use mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
  • Regularly check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed. Discontinue use if malfunction occurs.

Safety Harness Usage

  • The child tray is not designed to hold the child. Stay near and watch the child during use. NEVER leave child unattended.
  • Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the Harness Buckles into the Center Clasp with the Button.
  • NOTE: Only use top slots with the Baby Trend Seat 2 Mat accessory (sold separately). Adjust waist straps for comfort and safety by sliding buckles. Safety straps should fit snugly.

Releasing Safety Belt

  • Push the button on the Center Clasp to release the Harness Buckles.

Brakes

  • WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent rolling. Never leave unattended on hills or inclines.
  • To engage brakes: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. You may need to move the stroller slightly forward or backward to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster. Check that the stroller does not move and both brakes are applied correctly.
  • To release brakes: Gently lift up on the brake lever.

Car Seat Adapter Safety

  • For maximum weight used in the adapter, refer to the car seat manual.
  • Prevent serious injury or death from falls; ensure the car seat adapter is securely attached to the stroller frame before use.
  • The tray and/or canopy CANNOT be used with the car seat adapter.
  • CAUTION: Avoid serious injury from falling; always use the safety belt to secure the car seat to the stroller.

Accessories

Car Seat Adapter Installation

  • Always remove the child tray and canopy from the wagon to install the adapter. Refer to pages 11-13 for details.
  • Unfold the adapter and place it on a flat surface. Connect both ends of the adapter bars together. Ensure both pins click into the holes. Flip the adapter.
  • Open the clips on both sides of the adapter. Open the flaps on the wagon cover to expose the bar connection.
  • Face the front of the adapter to the front of the wagon. Align the clips to the bar and press them into place.
  • Close the clips firmly from the inside with your thumbs and check that it is secured into the frame.

Car Seat Adapter Removal

  • To remove the adapter, wrap thumbs over the wagon frame and use fingers to apply pressure on the clip to release it from the bar.
  • Refer to pages 29 and 30 for car seat installation.

Infant Car Seat Installation

  • Place the car seat onto the Car Seat Adapter. The front of the car seat should face the same direction as the stroller wagon handle. Ensure car seat stoppers rest on the Adapter Bars.
  • Strap the Safety Belts through the Belt Path on the Car Seat and connect the buckles. Tighten the strap so it fits snugly and the car seat is secured to the frame.
  • NOTE: The Safety Belt MUST ALWAYS be installed through the Belt Path before using this product.
  • REMOVAL: Release the safety strap, reverse step 15, and then follow step 14.

Maintenance

Wagon Fabric

  • To detach the fabric (for cleaning or replacement): Unzip from the front and rear of the wagon frame.
  • Through the pocket opening, remove the D-Rings straps from the fabric near the bottom front and rear frames to unthread the harness straps. Remove screws on the underside of the frame.
  • To reattach the fabric: Ensure fabric is realigned to the corresponding front and rear end frames. Insert D-Ring straps through the slots and secure them completely with the D-Ring.
  • Ensure fabric is securely attached: zippers should be zipped and hook and loop fasteners attached.
  • Regularly check for worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.

Rear Axle Wheel Removal

  • To release the entire rear wheel assembly, push the rear wheel release. The wheel detaches from the bushing.
  • If replacing the rear axle, press the pin on each side behind the wheel hub. Pull the rear axle out from the hub.

Adapter Fabric

  • To detach adapter fabric: Use the pin to separate the frame, undo hook and loop fasteners. Slide out pre-sewn panels from the adapter bar to remove fabric.
  • To reattach: Slide in pre-sewn panels and connect frame parts. Subsequently hook and loop panels over the bar to secure fabric. Ensure frame parts are connected using the pins.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning Seat Pad: Spot clean only. Surface wash small spots with mild soap and water. Rinse with water and wipe or air dry.
  • Cleaning Stroller: Surface wash frame, plastic parts, and fabric with mild soap and water. Wipe surfaces with water and wipe or air dry.
  • Check stroller regularly for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
