Description
The LOP-200 is a 200W highly reliable green PCB type low profile power supply with a high power density (25W/in³) on the 4" by 2" footprint. It accepts 80~264VAC input and offers various output voltages between 12V and 54V. The working efficiency is up to 94% and the extremely low no load power consumption is down below 0.5W.
The LOP-200 is able to be used for both Class I (with FG) and Class II (no FG) system design. The LOP-200 is equipped with complete protection functions. It is complied with the international safety regulations such as IEC/BS EN/EN/UL62368-1, IEC/BS EN/EN60335-1, IEC/BS EN/EN61558-1/-2-16, IEC/BS EN/EN60601-1. The LOP-200 serves as a high price-to-performance power supply solution for various industrial applications. The extremely low leakage current is less than 500 µA. In addition, it conforms to the international medical regulations (2*MOPP) and EMC BS EN/EN55011, perfectly fitting all kinds of BF rated "patient contact" medical system equipment.

Note:
- All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25°C of ambient temperature.
- Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1μf & 47µf parallel capacitor.
- Tolerance: includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- Derating may be needed under low input voltages. Please check the derating curve for more details.
- The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. All the EMC tests are been executed by mounting the unit on a 360mm*360mm metal plate with 1mm of thickness. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. Block Diagram
A block diagram illustrates the internal components and signal flow of the power supply, including EMI filters, rectifiers, switching circuits, detection circuits, and output stages.
Derating Curve
The derating curve shows the maximum output power (in Watts) versus ambient temperature (°C). It indicates that the power supply can deliver up to 200W with forced-cooled (10.98CFM fan) operation, and up to 140W with free air convection. Derating is necessary at higher ambient temperatures.
Cooling Methods:
- Free air convection: 140W Max. Output Power
- Force-cooled with external Fan: 200W Max. Output Power
Output Derating VS Input Voltage
This graph illustrates how the output power capacity of the LOP-200 series power supply is affected by the input voltage. It shows that the power supply can operate at full capacity (100% load) within an input voltage range of approximately 115VAC to 264VAC.
Mechanical Specification
The mechanical specifications provide the physical dimensions and mounting details of the LOP-200 power supply. The unit measures 101.6mm in length, 50.8mm in width, and 25.4mm in height. It includes details on AC input and DC output connectors, as well as a fan connector.
Note on System Grounding:
- Class I System: Mounting holes marked with [ground symbol] have to be connected to safety earth.
- Class II System: Unnecessary to connect with safety earth.
