Product Description
The UHP-200 series is a 200W single-output slim type power supply featuring a 26mm low profile design. It accepts a full range 90~264VAC input and offers output voltages from 3.3V to 55V. With high efficiency up to 94%, it operates from -30°C to +70°C under air convection without a fan. The UHP-200 series provides comprehensive protection functions and 5G anti-vibration capability. It complies with international safety regulations including TUV BS EN/EN62368-1, BS EN/EN60335-1, UL 62368-1, and GB 4943.1, making it a high-performance power supply solution for various industrial applications.

Block Diagram
The block diagram illustrates the internal signal flow of the UHP-200 series power supply. Input power (I/P) first passes through an EMI Filter & Rectifier, followed by a PFC Circuit. This is then fed into the Power Switching stage, which is regulated by a Control circuit. The output is processed by Rectifiers & Filter to produce the final DC output (+V, -V). The diagram also shows a Detection Circuit monitoring Over Temperature Protection (O.T.P.), Over Load Protection (O.L.P.), and Over Voltage Protection (O.V.P.). Optional DC OK Function and Redundant Function are indicated. The switching frequencies are noted as PFC fosc: 100KHz and PWM fosc: 90KHz~110KHz.
Derating Curves
Derating curves illustrate the relationship between rated current percentage and ambient temperature for optimal performance. Three primary curves are presented:
- Ambient Temperature (°C) vs. Rated Current (%): Shows derating for "for other" models and "for 55V" models under general conditions.
- Ambient Temperature Without Aluminum Plate (°C) vs. Rated Current (%): Details derating for various input voltages (100Vac, 230Vac) and model types ("for 55V", "for other"), indicating reduced performance at higher temperatures without proper heat sinking.
- Tcase (°C) vs. Rated Current (%): Depicts the derating based on the case temperature, showing limits for "for 55V" and "for other" models, with a maximum operating range extending to 90°C.
Note 5 specifies that ambient temperature derating of 5°C/1000m is needed for operating altitudes greater than 2000m (6500ft).
Static Characteristic
The static characteristic graph shows the relationship between Input Voltage (V) at 60Hz and the Load (%). It indicates that the power supply operates efficiently across a wide input voltage range from 90VAC to 264VAC, maintaining full load capacity (100%) within this range.
Function Manual
1. DC OK Signal
The DC OK signal is an optocoupler output that indicates the power supply's output status. When the optocoupler's C-E pins conduct, the PSU is turned on and the DC OK signal is active (DC ok). When the optocoupler's C-E pins are open, the PSU is turned off, and the DC OK signal indicates a DC fail. The optocoupler has a maximum rating of 15Vdc/10mA resistive load.
2. Redundant Function
The UHP-200R models feature a built-in redundant function, allowing two units to be connected in parallel for increased reliability. In parallel operation, the total load should not exceed the rated power of a single PSU.

The UHP-200 series has a slim profile with dimensions of 194mm (Length) x 55mm (Width) x 26mm (Height). The unit case number is 249B, with a tolerance of ±1mm.

Installation
1. Operation with Additional Aluminum Plate
To meet the derating curves and static characteristics, the UHP-200 series must be installed onto an aluminum plate or a cabinet of equivalent size on the bottom. The suggested aluminum plate size is 300mm x 300mm. For optimal thermal performance, the aluminum plate should have an even and smooth surface, potentially coated with thermal grease. The UHP-200 series must be firmly mounted at the center of this plate. Mounting is done using M3 screws (4 required).
