Assembly Instructions

Please follow these steps carefully to assemble your MAULjaval 825 83 lamp.

Step 1: Prepare Lamp Head and Pole

Take the lamp head (Part 1) and the main pole (Part 2). Connect the electrical components of the lamp head to the top of the pole. Secure the connection using two screws (2x).

Step 2: Attach Clamp Mechanism to Pole

Attach the clamp mechanism to the lower section of the main pole (Part 2). This typically involves inserting the pole into the clamp and securing it with a screw, possibly using the 3mm Allen key (Part 5).

Step 3: Connect Pole to Base

Attach the assembled pole (Part 2) to the lamp base. This step requires three screws (3x) and three washers (3x). Use the provided wrench (Part 7) or the appropriate Allen key (Part 5) for tightening.

Step 4: Attach Legs to Base

If using the base option, attach the legs to the underside of the base (Part 1) using two screws (2x).

Step 5: Final Pole Attachment and Tightening

Ensure the main pole (Part 2) is securely attached to the base. Tighten the connection to a torque of no more than 5 Nm (Newton-meters) using the provided wrench.

Step 13: Adjusting the Clamp

The clamp mechanism can be adjusted for different surface thicknesses. Use the Allen key (Part 6) to tighten or loosen the clamp.

Option A: Adjusting the clamp height.
Option B: Adjusting the clamp grip.

Operation

The lamp features a control dial for power and brightness adjustment:

ON/OFF: Turn the dial to switch the lamp on or off.
Dimming: Rotate the dial to adjust the brightness from minimum to maximum. The dial indicates "dimmen / dim" and "maximal / maximum".
