Precautions
- Use the printer only as described in this manual to prevent accidents or damage.
- Only MakeID official labels are supported. Using other brands may damage the print head and shorten its lifespan; such damage is not covered by warranty.
- The print head generates heat; avoid touching it or nearby components during or immediately after printing.
- Prevent static electricity damage by not touching the print head. Clean a dirty print head with anhydrous alcohol.
- Do not scratch the print head with hard objects; improper maintenance or use leading to print head damage is not covered by warranty.

- Avoid pressing or hitting the printer, which can cause component damage or malfunction.
- If the printer is wet or damaged, stop using it immediately.
- Keep the printer away from direct sunlight, rain, heaters, dashboards, and extreme temperatures or humidity. Optimal use is between 0°C~40°C and 5%-85% RH.
- Allow the printer to acclimate to room temperature if moved from a significantly different environment to prevent condensation.
- Avoid placing labels in areas frequently touched by hands, as sweat and friction can fade printings.
- Prolonged contact with chemical liquids may affect label longevity.
- Remove and tear off labels at the exit after each print job to prevent jamming.
- Do not disassemble the printer to avoid electric shock, injury, or component damage.
- If the printer emits smoke or odor, power it off immediately to prevent burns.
- Do not force the cover open to remove a label roll while the printer is operating.
- Do not touch the print head after printing to avoid burns, as it remains hot.
- To protect the print head and extend its life: print no more than 8 meters continuously per session and no more than 30 meters per day.
- Set printing density/darkness as low as possible while meeting requirements to preserve print head life.
- The print head is fragile. Avoid contact with its surface. Do not use carbon ribbons or label paper containing sodium (Na), potassium (K), or chlorine (Cl) ions. Keep the print head away from liquids or moisture. Clean only with anhydrous alcohol.
