Precautions
- Do not use the printer for any purpose other than those specified in this manual, as it may lead to accidents or product damage.
- Only MakeID official labels are compatible with this printer. Using other brands may damage the printhead and reduce its lifespan. Damage caused by using poor-quality labels is not covered by the warranty.
- Avoid touching the printhead to prevent damage from static electricity. If the printhead becomes dirty, clean it with anhydrous alcohol.
- Do not scratch the printhead with hard objects. Damage from improper maintenance or use is not covered by the warranty.
- Do not place foreign objects in the label exit slot, as this can damage the printer.
- Do not press or hit the printer, as this may cause component damage or malfunction.
- If the printer becomes soaked in water or is otherwise damaged, stop using it immediately.
- Keep the printer away from direct sunlight, rain, heaters, heat-generating devices, car dashboards, and areas with extremely high or low temperatures, high humidity, or dust. The standard operating temperature range is 5°C to 35°C.
- If there is a significant temperature difference between indoor and outdoor environments, allow the printer to acclimate to the indoor temperature for a period before use to prevent condensation.
- Avoid sticking labels on surfaces frequently touched by hands, as sweat and friction can cause printings to fade.
- Do not expose labels to chemical liquids such as hand sanitizers, laundry detergents, or alcohol for extended periods, as this may affect print preservation.
- Do not wipe labels with cleaning tools containing alcohol.
- Thermal inkless printing is a specialized technology. Printings may fade if used improperly. It is recommended to apply labels in dry, flat, and infrequently touched environments at room temperature.
- To prevent label jamming during multiple printings, remove and tear off the label at the exit after each printing task is completed.
- Do not disassemble the printer to avoid electric shock, mechanical injury, or damage to printer components and other accidents.
- Power off the printer immediately if it exhibits abnormalities like emitting smoke or odor to prevent burns.
- To prevent unexpected situations, do not force the cover open to remove the label roll while the printer is operating.
- Do not touch the printhead immediately after printing, as it remains hot and can cause burns.
- To protect the printhead, a precision component, and extend its life:
- a. Avoid printing more than 2 meters for any continuous printing session.
- b. Do not print more than a total of 20 meters per day.
- Due to the printhead's fragile nature, observe the following to prevent corrosion:
- a. Do not touch the printhead surface.
- b. Do not use carbon ribbons or thermal labels containing sodium, potassium, or chloride ions.
- c. Avoid contact between the printhead and any liquids or wet objects.
- d. Clean the printhead only with anhydrous alcohol.
