2. Adjust the horizontal handlebar position as closely as possible to your body size. An optimal and comfortable riding position for inexperienced riders is achieved when your back forms an angle of 45° to the horizontal.
It is recommended to frequently change hand positions during longer training sessions to minimize one-sided and monotonous strain on muscles, ligaments, and joints.
WARNING: Do not adjust the saddle and handlebars during exercise. Ensure that the pop-pin knobs for handlebar and seat height adjustment are properly tightened and the thumb lever for horizontal adjustment is closed before sitting on the Indoor Cycle. Always dismount the Indoor Cycle when adjusting the handlebars and/or the seat.
Using the Indoor Cycle
1. Pedal the Indoor Cycle to generate power for the bike and the console. The pedaling cadence and duration influence how long the console remains on and how long workout information is displayed after stopping.
2. Pedal the Indoor Cycle at more than 50 RPM to fully charge the unit. If the Indoor Cycle is fully charged and no longer being pedaled, the user LED will blink after 2.5 minutes, indicating that the console will soon turn off.
If the console's backlight is set to medium or high in the general settings, the display will remain dimmed until a cadence of over 50 RPM is reached. If the cadence drops below 50 RPM, the display dims to a low brightness level to save power until the cadence is increased again.
In Power Training, the Coach By Color LEDs, which are oriented towards the trainer and the user, are activated as soon as a cadence of more than 50 RPM is reached. If the cadence drops below 45 RPM, the LEDs turn off and will only light up again when more than 50 RPM is reached.
The instructions for operating and training control of the WattRate® LCD computer are located in the separately supplied Computer Operation Manual.
Adjusting Resistance
The resistance adjustment can be regulated precisely and in fine steps according to user requirements via the resistance dial with a 300° range of motion. The resistance in % (where 0% is no resistance and 100% is maximum resistance) is also displayed on the Indoor Cycle computer display.
