2 | Vertical handlebar adjustment | 1 |
2. Insert your feet into the pedal cages or SPD cleats if using cycling shoes.
3. Begin pedaling slowly until the pedal reaches the position shown above.
4. The saddle height should be adjusted so that your knees are always slightly bent when the pedal is in its lowest position, without tilting your pelvis to one side.
NOTE: When standing next to the cycle, the top of the saddle should be about one hand's width / four fingers below the iliac crest.
CAUTION: Avoid pedaling with your knees fully extended or with your pelvis tilted to one side.
Adjusting Saddle Fore/Aft
Correct horizontal saddle positioning is crucial to prevent knee injuries.
1. Sit on the saddle and bring the pedals to a horizontal position, with the cranks aligned horizontally.
Element | Description | Qty. |
---|---|---|
1 | Knee | 1 |
2 | Center of the pedal | 1 |
2. The knee of the forward-facing leg should be positioned directly over the center of the pedal. If this does not match the cycle's setting, adjust the horizontal saddle position forward or backward to achieve this seating position.
WARNING: Do not adjust the saddle or handlebars during exercise. Ensure that the quick-release knobs used for saddle and handlebar height adjustment are securely tightened and that the thumb levers for horizontal adjustment are closed before sitting on the cycle. Always dismount the cycle before adjusting the handlebars and/or saddle.
Positioning the Handlebars
1. Set the top of the handlebars approximately at the same height as the saddle. If your knees touch the handlebars or you experience back discomfort during upright pedaling for extended periods, the handlebars should be adjusted slightly higher.
Element | Description | Qty. |
---|---|---|
1 | Saddle | 1 |
2 | Top of Handlebar | 1 |
3 | Vertical handlebar adjustment | 1 |
2. Adjust the horizontal handlebar position with maximum precision according to your height. An ideal and comfortable seated position for beginner cyclists is achieved when the back forms a 45° angle with the horizontal line.
It is recommended to frequently change hand positions during prolonged workouts to reduce unilateral and repetitive strain on muscles, ligaments, and joints.
Using the Indoor Cycle
1. Pedal the cycle to provide power to the device and console. Pedaling frequency and duration affect console power-on time and how long workout details remain visible after pedaling stops.
2. Pedal the indoor cycle at over 50 RPM for at least 1 minute for a full charge. When the cycle is fully charged and no longer in use, the user LED will flash after 2.5 minutes, indicating the console is about to shut down.
If the console backlight is set to medium or high, the display will remain dimmed until you exceed 50 RPM. If pedaling cadence drops below 50 RPM, the display will reduce brightness to save power until cadence increases again.
During power training, the "Coach By Color" LEDs facing the user and trainer activate when you exceed 50 RPM. If cadence drops below 45 RPM, the LEDs turn off and will turn back on once you exceed 50 RPM.
Instructions for using and managing workouts with the WattRate® LCD Computer are found in the console user manual provided with the equipment.
Adjusting Brake Resistance
Brake resistance can be precisely adjusted and modulated in small increments according to user needs by rotating the resistance knob through a 300° angle. The resistance percentage (where 0% is no resistance and 100% is maximum resistance) is displayed on the Indoor Cycle console display.
1. To increase resistance, turn the resistance knob clockwise.

---|---|---|
1 | Press downwards | 1 |
2 | Resistance knob | 1 |
REMEMBER: During exercise, ensure your shoes are in the pedal cages or, if using cycling shoes, that they are clipped into the pedals with SPD cleats.
NOTE: To stop the cycle after a workout, always check pedal movement by gradually slowing down pedaling cadence until the pedals and flywheel stop completely.
WARNING: For your safety, always pedal in a controlled manner and adjust pedaling cadence to your physical capabilities.
WARNING: Never pedal backward, as this could loosen the pedals and crank bolts, risking detachment during use. The indoor cycle is not equipped with a freewheel. The pedals are fixed to the flywheel and do not stop automatically when you stop pedaling. To stop the cycle after a workout, always check pedal movement by gradually slowing down pedaling cadence until the pedals and flywheel stop completely.
