Instructions for Safe Use

1. Use the original power cord and adapter to avoid damage and safety hazards.
2. Turn off the power before cleaning and disassembling. Do not soak or clean the base and circuit parts with water.
3. Place the product on a stable, flat surface. Do not place it on a high surface to avoid fall hazards.
4. Not for use on kittens under 6 months of age. Properly guide pets to use it and make sure they don't chew on the cord.
5. The self-cleaning cat litter box is only for cats over 4.4 lbs (2 kg) and it is recommended that cats do not exceed a maximum weight of 33 lbs (15kg).
6. Please do not dump the machine during operation.
7. Please do not stack any objects on the top cover, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the machine.
8. Do not put your hands into the rolling mechanism while the machine is running.
9. Do not switch between cleaning and emptying tasks; you must wait until the current task is completed.
10. Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in accidental injury to your pet. Please follow the instructions strictly.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: After opening the package, remove the fixing tapes on the front and back sides of the machine first, and lift the top cover by pushing the clasps of the left and right top covers inward with both hands.

Step 2: From the opening above the drum, take out the drawer litter box, the support legs, the rubbish bag, the manual, deodorant box, the adapter, and then close the top cover.

Step 3: Insert the four support legs directly into the four mounting holes of the base.

Step 4: Take out a garbage bag and put it in the drawer at the bottom without any protrusions, with the edges facing downwards around it, and place the deodorant box in the card slot at the front of the drawer.

Step 5: Load the litter bags into the drawer litter box. There are two glide tracks on the bottom of the machine. To install, push the drawer slot along the bottom glide track from underneath the entry opening on the front of the machine. If the drawer litter box is not installed in place, the unit malfunction indicator light will be on constantly.

Step 6: The power jack of the machine is on the backside. Please plug in and use this product. The button is the power switch; long press can be switched on or off.

Step 7: Pour cat litter into the entrance or top opening of the cat, and then use the panel buttons to control the device cleaning or unplug the power to initialize the device.

Step 8: After adding cat litter, you need to unplug the power and restart or use the button to control the device cleaning once.

Connection Process

Follow these steps to connect your Smart Cat Litter Box to the app:

1. Identify the QR code or search for "Tuya Smart" in the app store to download the app. (You can only connect when you have Wi-Fi). ?
2. Install the registration app and click "Add Device" on the main page.
3. Press the network connection button on the device for 1 second. The buzzer will sound, and Wi-Fi indicator lights will flash quickly. Wait for the mobile app to recognize the smart litter box device and click "add".
4. Follow the app prompts to complete the binding.

Connect Failed Troubleshooting:

• Please check if the Wi-Fi name and password match; Restart your phone and Router, rebind.
• The device only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi. If the router is not set up for 2.4G network, it can be resolved by setting up the router.
• Place the device closer to the router, power it back on, replace the phone, and reconnect it.

App connection sequence: Add Device ➡️ Searching ➡️ Input Wi-Fi Name and Password ➡️ Click to Next ➡️ Click to Connect ➡️ Wait for Successful Matching.

Mobile App Function Interface

The mobile app allows for comprehensive control and monitoring of the Smart Cat Litter Box. Key features include:

• Working Mode: Switch between Automatic and Manual modes.
• Settings: Adjust Bright Value, Flow Set, and Delay Clean Time.
• Statistics: View cat's toilet usage statistics, number of cleanings, last toilet duration, last cat weight, and operation logs.
• Status: Monitor working status and system errors.

Button and Indicator Light Description

Pilot Lamp Status:

• Standby: Always on standby.
• Clean: Always on clean, flicker cleaning pause.
• Empty: Always on empty, flicker empty pause.
• Abnormal: Always on abnormal, drawer not reset, no reset.
• WiFi: Always on Connection, fast flicker configuration.
• Reset: Always on reset, flicker reset pause.
• Auto: Always on auto.
• Manual: Always on manual.

Button Functions:

• Cleaning Button: Press 1 sec, makes a "di", cleaning indicator light lights up. Release to clean.
• Empty Button: Press 3 sec, makes "di", empty light lights up. Release to empty.
• WiFi Button: Press 1 sec, makes a "di", wifi light fast flickers. Release to enter configuration.
• Mode Button: Press 1 sec, makes a "di", switch the working mode to another mode.

Child Lock: Simultaneously press the Emptying and network settings buttons for 3 seconds. With a beep, the child lock is unlocked.

2 Modes

A. Automatic Mode

The self-cleaning cat litter box is in auto mode by default when shipped from the factory (even if no network is configured). In automatic mode, the device has automatic cleaning and automatic identification and protection functions. If there is any abnormality during the automatic cleaning process, you can press the device button briefly to pause. When the device is abnormal, it will send reminders and notifications through the APP. If you manually set the delay time to clean up after, when the device detects that your cat has finished going to the toilet, it will automatically clean up according to the set delay time. It is recommended to set the delay time to about 6 minutes so that the feces and cat litter can be fully clumped.

B. Manual Mode

• You can switch to manual mode via APP.
• When in manual mode, the device no longer detects and cleans automatically. You can only clean it manually by long-pressing the device button for 3-5 seconds and through the clean button in APP.
• Manual mode is suitable for those users who want to clean and record by their own manual operation.

Note: When using manual mode, please check that the child lock mode is unlocked first. Only after it is unlocked can you manually operate the buttons on the self-cleaning cat litter box machine panel.

Protection Mechanism

The Smart Litter Box has a fully automatic safety function to protect the cat's body. The protection triggers in different working states are as follows:

Dismantling and Washing of Accessories

The drawers, roller silos, and fabric soft basins of the smart litter box can be disassembled and cleaned.

1. Drawer cleaning

Pull out the drawer and wash it.

2. Roller silos cleaning

Lift the top cover by pushing the clasps of the left and right top covers inward with both hands.

Lift the roller silo upwards gently and firmly to remove the roller silo. Take out the drum silo to clean.

3. Fabric soft basin cleaning

By clicking the empty button of the trash can on the panel, the cat litter will fall from the roller bin directly into the trash bag in the drawer.

Gently press down the fabric soft basin buckle in the roller silo and gently pull it out at the top of the slope.

Note:

• Please use clean water. You can use ordinary household cleaning agents and disinfectants, and do not use strong corrosive detergents.
• After cleaning is complete, please wipe all accessories dry. They can be installed on the machine as they are.
• Before running the device, please ensure that all accessories are fully installed on the device, otherwise the device functionality will be affected.

Q: Can this self-cleaning cat litter box hold any kind of litter?

A: The self-cleaning litter box is suitable for cat litters that can clump, such as to fucat litter, bentonite cat litter, mixed cat litter, and millet cat litter. We highly recommend using litter that can clump, as it makes the self-cleaning litter box more effective.

Q: Can I completely eliminate odours with this litter tray?

A: It is impossible to completely eliminate litter box odours. However, as excrement is removed and cleaned into the litter bag in the drawer litter box in a timely manner, the odour emitted from the litter box can be greatly reduced as the waste is insulated.

Q: Does the cat come out with the litter?

A: The self-cleaning litter box is different from other automatic litter boxes. The entrance is designed with a small stall plate. The baffle mainly solves the problem that some customers' cats often urinate on the gap between the litter tray opening and the wall because they are not adapted to the new toilet environment, and at the same time self-cleaning. It can also scrape off the litter adhering to the cat's feet.

Q: How do I change the drawer litter bag?

A: When using for the first time, please refer to the use video on the home page linked at the time of purchase, or read the instruction manual carefully to learn how to fix the rubbish bag.

Q: What if my cat refuses to use the self-cleaning litter box?

A: Our self-cleaning litter box is very newbie friendly and simple to use, so don't worry too much. Usually in this case, most kittens will adapt to this new litter tray within a month. You can also place your cat's favourite toys in the litter tray to familiarise your cat with the interior first, and take a few minutes at a time to teach your cat, which will help him learn how to use it even more. I believe your cat is very smart and will get the rhythm of the smart litter tray in a few days.
