The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the end user's sole responsibility.

Important Safety Warnings
Please follow all instructions carefully to ensure your child's safety. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.
- Always use the safety harness and ensure children are properly positioned.
- Never leave children unattended.
- Check that wheels are securely attached; a detached wheel can cause tip-over.
- This stroller is designed for one child only.
- Do not overload the stroller; observe weight limits for the basket and trays.
- Ensure the stroller is fully upright and locked before allowing children near.
- Do not use on stairs or escalators, or with roller skates/inline skates.
- Consult your pediatrician regarding age/weight recommendations for jogging.
- Never use the stroller as a toy.
- Keep stroller tether strap out of children's reach to prevent strangulation hazard.
- Always lock the front swivel wheel in a straight position before placing or removing children.
- Always engage brakes when the stroller is not being pushed.
- Never jog or run with a newborn in the car seat position; use for strolling only.

Assembly Instructions
Adult assembly is required. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning.
Front Wheel Installation
- Unlock the release lever. Unfold stroller frame by pulling backward on the handle. Lean stroller back so it rests on the handle and rear axle frame, with front wheel forks pointing upward.
- Slide the front wheel onto the front forks.
- Slide the retainer plate onto the wheel's axle, ensuring the raised lip points toward the fork and inserts into the slot. Align the plate's tab with the fork slot before tightening.
- Install axle nuts and tighten with a wrench until significant resistance is felt and the wheel is held tightly.
- Test wheel security: Lift the front of the stroller and pull down on the wheel. It must not come off.
- If experiencing front wheel wobble, adjust the front wheel housing nut located under the footrest using a crescent wrench. Do not overtighten.
Fender Installation
- Examine the bottom of the front fender; note the plastic tubes.
- Align these tubes with the holes in the front frame assembly.
- Align the fender and press onto the frame.
- Insert 4 screws through the underside of the front frame assembly into the fender's plastic tubes. Tighten screws until snug, but do not overtighten.
Rear Wheel Installation
- Lean stroller forward onto the front wheel.
- Push each rear wheel's axle into the plastic corner fitting, depressing the metal lever on the inside of the fitting as you push. Release the lever when the wheel is fully inserted.
- Check wheel lock: Pull on the wheel. If not locked, lift the lever, push the wheel further, and release the lever.
- Ensure wheels are firmly locked. Contact customer service if wheels are not locked.
Parent Tray Installation
- Align parent tray slots with corresponding slots on the stroller frame.
- Slide down until it locks into place. Verify it is secure before use.
Canopy Installation
- To install: Slide the male ends of the canopy into the female slots on the stroller frame.
- To open: Push forward on the front edge of the canopy while holding the rear in place.
- To fold: Pull backward on the front edge.
Child Tray Installation
- Align the child tray at a 90° angle to your left side armrest.
- Push the tray firmly to lock into place. Rotate the tray downward until latched onto your right side armrest.
- Check that the snap button comes through and securely latches the tray.
- To access the child seat: Press the tray release button and rotate upward.
Basket Installation
- Insert the rear basket tube into the male ends on the basket frame until it locks into place.
MP3 Speaker Connection (if equipped)
Plug MP3 speakers into the parent tray. Connect the male end of the speaker wire into your MP3 player.
Infant Car Seat Installation
- Place stroller seat in full recline position.
- Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame.
- Position infant car seat facing rearward. Push seat into front tray until latched. Rear of seat rests on support tabs.
- Place stroller seat in most upright position for additional support.
- Strap the single short clip over the infant car seat, through the seat belt slot. Ensure the clip is always tightly fastened.
- To remove car seat: Remove short clip, squeeze release handle at foot-end of seat, and lift upward.
Handle Adjustment
To adjust the handle, press the red buttons and move up or down to a comfortable position.
Brake Engagement
- Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. You may need to slightly move the stroller to align brake teeth with wheel brake cluster.
- Check that the stroller does not move and both brakes are applied.
- To release: Gently lift up on the brake lever.
Front Wheel Lock
Always lock the front swivel wheel in a straight position before placing or removing children. Lock the front wheel from swiveling to prevent tip-overs when running or walking fast.
Safety Harness
- Select the shoulder strap position level with or below the top of the child's shoulder.
- Place child in seat, bring harness around waist and over shoulders. Place crotch strap between legs.
- Insert male ends of shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle.
- Tighten harness to be snug around the child's waist and over shoulders.
- To release child: Push the center clasp button (Type 1) or apply pressure to both sides of each male clip (Type 2) until released.
Seatback Positioning
The seat has a multi-position recline controlled by a strap and buckle assembly. Loosen strap to recline; press upward on seat back while pulling strap to move to a more upright position. The strap will lock automatically. The upright position is for children at least 6 months old. Always readjust the safety harness when repositioning the seatback.
Jogging Safety
Use safety features when jogging. Never jog with a newborn in the car seat position; use for strolling only. Be aware of strangulation hazards from loose straps.
Tire Inflation
Check tire pressure before use. Do not inflate above maximum recommended pressure. Use only a hand pump; do not use an air compressor.
Folding and Unfolding
To Fold Stroller:
- Engage rear wheel locks.
- Unlock the front wheel.
- Close the canopy.
- Place seat in the furthest recline position.
- Slide thumb trigger to the left and squeeze the pull trigger while pushing forward on the handle.
- Release handle and push forward until stroller is folded. Lock the release lever to secure.
To Unfold Stroller:
- Unlock the release lever.
- Unfold stroller frame by pulling backward on the handle.
Maintenance
Wheel Adjustment
If stroller pulls to one side, follow instructions on page 9 to realign the front wheel. Factors like uneven tire pressure or improper installation can cause pulling.
Flat Tires
Jogging strollers have bicycle tires that can go flat. Repair flat tires using a standard bicycle tire repair kit or take to a bike shop. Consider thorn-proof inner tubes for frequent flats. Ensure correct tire size is used.
