Front Wheel Installation

  1. Lean stroller backwards to rest on handle and rear axle frame, with front wheel forks pointing upward.
  2. Slide the front wheel onto the front forks.
  3. Slide the retainer plate onto the front wheel, ensuring the raised lip points toward the fork and inserts into the slot. Align the plate's tab with the fork slot before tightening.
  4. Install axel nuts and tighten with a wrench until significant resistance is felt, ensuring the wheel is held tightly.
  5. Test the front wheel by lifting it and striking the tire top. The wheel should not be loose or come off.
  6. If the front wheel wobbles excessively, adjust the front wheel housing nut located under the footrest. Tighten carefully, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

Fender Installation

  1. Examine the bottom of the front fender for plastic tubes.
  2. Align these tubes with the holes in the front frame assembly.
  3. Align the front fender and press onto the front frame assembly.
  4. Insert 4 screws through the underside of the front frame assembly into the fender's plastic tubes. Tighten until snug, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

Rear Wheel Installation

  1. Lean stroller forward to rest on the front wheel.
  2. To attach rear wheels, push each wheel's axle into the plastic corner fitting. Depress the metal lever on the inside of the fitting while pushing the axle. Release the lever when the wheel is fully inserted.
  3. Pull on the wheel to confirm it is locked. If not, lift the lever, push the wheel further, and release.
  4. Ensure wheels are firmly locked. NEVER use if wheels are not locked.

Parent Tray Installation

  1. Align parent tray fittings with handle fittings. Hook the tray's hole.
  2. Pull outward on the opposite end while pushing down on the tray until it locks onto the stroller handle. Be careful not to pinch fingers.
  3. To remove, pull outward on one end while lifting upward.

Canopy Operation

Child Tray Installation (if equipped)

  1. Attach the child tray by inserting the tray clip into the stroller's fold joint fitting. Ensure it locks.
  2. Push the angled tray onto the post at the right armrest end, pressing the snap button until locked.

  4. To access the child seat, press the left side tray release button and rotate upward.
  5. To remove the child tray, press the red snap button, rotate upward, release the right armrest snap button, and pull the tray.

Pedometer Installation (if equipped)

MP3 Speaker Connection (if equipped)

MP3 speakers plug into the parent tray. Connect the male end of the speaker wire to your MP3 player to listen to music.

Infant Car Seat Installation

WARNING: Never jog or run with a newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.

  1. Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame. Ensure the front child tray is firmly attached.
  2. Position the infant car seat facing the rear of the stroller. The seat shell should fit into the front tray and latch.
  3. Once locked, strap the single short clip over the infant car seat through the seat belt slot. Ensure this clip is always tightly fastened.
  4. To remove the car seat, squeeze the release handle at the foot-end and lift upward.

Safety and Usage

Seatback Positioning

The seat reclines using a strap and buckle assembly behind the seat. Loosen the strap to recline, adjust to desired position. To move to upright position, push seat back up while pulling the strap. The strap locks automatically.

The upright position is for children 6 months and older. Always readjust the safety harness when repositioning the seatback.

Jogging with Your Stroller

When jogging:

Brakes

To engage brakes, apply light downward pressure to the rear wheel brake levers. You may need to slightly move the stroller forward or backward to align brake teeth with wheel clusters. Check that the stroller does not move and brakes are applied. To release, gently lift the brake lever.

Front Wheel Locking Device

The stroller has a front wheel locking device. Use the remote release lever (under the right side handle) to disengage the wheel and push to engage the locking device (under the footrest). This locks the front wheel in a straight position.

Harness and Child Security

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave child in seat when straps are loose or undone.

  1. Place child in stroller seat. Bring safety harness around waist and over shoulders.
  2. Place crotch strap between child's legs.
  3. Insert male ends of shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle.
  4. Tighten harness to be snug around child's waist and over shoulders.
  5. To release harness, apply pressure to both sides of each male clip until released. This requires moderate effort to prevent accidental release by the child.

Tires

Tires are shipped un-inflated. Inflate to 20-25 p.s.i. using a bicycle-style hand pump.

Tire Pump (if equipped): Follow instructions to assemble and use the pump. Ensure tire pressure is 20 p.s.i.

CAUTION: Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.

Folding and Unfolding

Maintenance

Wheel Adjustment

Strollers can deviate from a straight line due to various factors (tire pressure, installation, road conditions). If your stroller pulls significantly left or right on flat terrain, follow the front wheel realignment instructions on page 9.

Flat Tire

Jogging stroller tires are bicycle tires and can go flat. Use a standard bicycle tire repair kit or take to a bicycle shop. Consider thorn-proof inner tubes for frequent flats. Purchase the correct size as indicated on the tire sidewall.
