Parts Identification

Key components include: Stroller frame, Front Wheel, Footrest, Parent Tray, Rear Wheels, Footrest Screws.

Assembly Instructions

General: Remove stroller from box. Install front wheel, rear wheels, footrest, and parent tray before use.

Attaching the Front Wheel:

1. Lean stroller backward onto handle and rear axle frame, with front wheel forks pointing upward.

2. The front wheel has a quick release system. The front swivel wheel can be locked/unlocked by a lever (See Figure 3a).

3. Slide the front wheel onto the front forks. Ensure the quick release lever is in the open position and loose enough for the wheel to slide on.

4. Align the tab on the Holding Plate with the slot on the fork plate.

5. Tighten the finger nut on the axle until it is close to the fork. Rotate the lever to the closed position (See Figure 5). You should feel significant resistance. If not, open the lever, tighten the nut slightly, and close again until the wheel is held tightly.

Attaching the Front Footrest:

1. Secure the front footrest using the 4 provided screws.

2. Align holes on the plastic fender with frame holes. Press footrest onto the front frame assembly.

3. Insert screws through the underside of the front frame assembly into the footrest's plastic tubes. Tighten screws until snug. Do not over-tighten.

Attaching the Rear Wheels:

1. Lean stroller forward onto the front wheel.

2. Push each rear wheel's axle into the plastic corner fitting. Lift the plastic lever inside the fitting while pushing the axle. Release the lever when the wheel is fully seated.

3. Check that wheels are firmly locked by pulling on them. If not locked, repeat the process. Contact customer service if issues persist.

Attaching the Parent Tray:

1. Align parent tray fittings with the handle fittings.

2. Hook one end of the tray onto the handle, ensuring the fitting protrudes from the tray hole.

3. Pull outward on the opposite end while pushing down on the tray until it locks onto the handle. Be careful not to pinch fingers.

4. To remove, pull outward on one end while lifting upward.

WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 pounds in the parent tray. This can cause serious burns or unstable conditions.

Canopy Operation:

To open: Push forward on the front edge of the canopy while holding the rear in place.

To fold: Pull backward on the front edge. The canopy must be closed before folding the stroller.

Jogging with Your Stroller

Safety Harness:

The 5-point harness has 3 attachment positions. Select the loop that places the shoulder strap level with or below the child's shoulder.

Place child in seat, bring harness around waist and over shoulders. Place crotch strap between legs. Insert male ends of waist/shoulder belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten harness snugly.

To release: Apply pressure to both sides of each male clip simultaneously.

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave child in seat when straps are loose or undone.

Safety Strap:

1. Connect the safety strap to your wrist when jogging. This prevents the stroller from rolling away if you trip. The strap must remain connected to the rear lower frame cross member.

2. Always lock the front swivel wheel before jogging. Ensure it is in the straight position.

Seatback Positioning

The seat reclines using a cord and spring-loaded adjuster behind the seat.

To recline: Pull back on the adjuster while holding the 2 cords.

To move to a more upright position: Grab the adjuster with one hand and pull the loop to the desired position with the other. The cord will lock automatically.

The upright position is for children at least 6 months old. Always readjust the safety harness when repositioning the seatback.

Brakes

WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. Never leave unattended on a hill or incline.

To engage: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. Slight forward/rearward movement may be needed to align brake teeth with wheel brake cluster.

Check that the stroller does not move and both brakes are applied. To release, gently lift the brake lever.

Canopy Adjustment

The canopy has a ratchet system for adjusting forward or backward to block sun or wind. Push or pull the canopy until it is in the desired position.

Folding and Unfolding

To Fold Stroller:

1. Close the canopy. Recline the seat.

2. Simultaneously pull each trigger fold. When fold latches release, the handle will drop.

3. Release fold buttons and press down on the stroller handle until completely folded.

4. Secure the folded stroller by hooking the fold latch (on the right side) over the frame rivet.

To Unfold Stroller:

1. Stand the stroller on the ground with all three wheels touching.

2. Release the folding latch (on the right side).

3. Lift the stroller handle with both hands until the frame is erect and locked open. Test that both side latches are fully engaged.

Tires

Tires are shipped un-inflated. Inflate tires to 20-25 pounds of air pressure using a bicycle style hand air pump.

Troubleshooting

Stroller Pulls to One Side:

1. Tire Pressure: Ensure rear tires have equal pressure. Add air up to 25 lbs using a bicycle style hand air pump.

2. Front Wheel Alignment: Loosen the front wheel quick release. Push the wheel in the opposite direction of the pull. The axle moves within the fork slot. Move the wheel slightly and retighten the quick release. Test by pushing the stroller. Re-adjust axle incrementally until it runs straight. A minute adjustment significantly affects tracking. The fork hole allows adjustment for pulling right, straight, or left.

If difficulty persists, contact customer service at (800) 328-7363.

Flat Tire:

Jogging strollers use bicycle tires. They can get flat tires. Repair using a standard bicycle tire repair kit or take to a bicycle shop.

For frequent flats, consider thorn-proof inner tubes, available at bicycle stores or retail stores. Check tire sidewall for correct size.
