Search Modes
The X-TERRA PRO offers three distinct search modes tailored for different environments:
- PARK Mode ?♂️: Ideal for recreational areas with significant trash. Suitable for general detection conditions.
- FIELD Mode ?: Best for historical fields and adapted for a wide range of target sizes.
- BEACH Mode ?: Designed for all high-salinity terrains, including wet/dry sand, surf, and underwater use.

Assembly
Step-by-step Assembly:
The detector is assembled by connecting the main components:
- Attach the lower shaft (with coil) to the middle shaft.
- Attach the middle shaft to the upper shaft (containing the control box).
- Secure each connection using the shaft locking mechanisms.
- Wrap the coil cable around the shaft and connect it to the control box.
- Adjust the shaft length for optimal ergonomics.
Recharge
The X-TERRA PRO requires approximately 5-6 hours for a full charge.
Important: Use a quality USB charger with a minimum capacity of 2A @ 5V. Poor quality chargers may not function correctly.
Look for certifications like CE, EAC, or Intertek on your USB charger.

Controls and Display
Familiarize yourself with the detector's controls and display:
Control Box Overview:
- Power Button ?: Turns the detector on/off.
- Sensitivity Adjustment ➕➖: Increase or decrease sensitivity.
- Search Mode Button ⚙️: Cycles through available search modes.
- All-Metal Button ?: Activates the all-metal detection mode.
- Pinpoint Button ?: Activates the pinpoint mode for precise target location.
- Settings Button ⚙️ (Brief Press): Cycles through settings like Interference Elimination, Ground Balance, Volume, Threshold, Target Tone, Accept/Reject, and Recovery Speed.
- Advanced Settings Button ⚙️ (Long Press): Accesses advanced settings such as Tone Volume and Tone Break.
- Accept/Reject Button ✔️❌: Used to accept or reject target signals or settings.
- Frequency Button ?: Adjusts the operating frequency.
Display Indicators:
- Ground Balance Tracking Indicator ⛰️: Shows status of automatic ground balance.
- Charge Status LED ?: Indicates charging status (charging/full).
- Charge Level Indicator ?: Shows remaining battery power.
- Discrimination Scale: Visual representation of target discrimination.
- Sensitivity Level: Displays current sensitivity setting.
- Backlight Indicator ?: Shows if the screen backlight is active.
- Flashlight Indicator ?: Shows if the built-in flashlight is active (activated by long-pressing the backlight button).
- Vibration Indicator ?: Indicates when vibration feedback is active.
- Wireless Audio Indicator ?: Shows status of wireless audio connection.
- Headphone Indicator ?: Shows when headphones are connected.
- Depth Indicator ?: Estimates the depth of the detected target.
- Target ID Number ?: Displays the numerical identification of the target.
- Frequency Display 10 kHz: Shows the current operating frequency.
