Connection Diagram:
[Diagram: Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) like a PoE Switch or Injector connects to the "PoE In" port of the Omada PoE+ Extender. The "PoE Out" port of the extender connects to a Powered Device (PD). The distance can be up to 100/250m depending on the cable type.]
Note:
- Ensure the PSE and PD devices are connected to the corresponding ports properly.
- For long-distance connections (over 100 meters), especially to IP cameras or similar devices, it is recommended to set the port speed of both the PSE and PD to 10 Mbps full-duplex or enable Extend Mode on the PSE.

FAQ
- Q1. Which devices can work normally with the extender?
- A: Only PSE and PD devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at can function well with the extender. Do not use the extender with other devices to extend the data transmission distance only.
- Q2. Why is the Link/Act LED not lit?
-
A1: Ensure your network cable is in good condition and that both the PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) and PD (Powered Device) are properly connected to the correct ports.
A2: POE20E-Outdoor features an adaptive data rate design. Link stability may be affected by cable length, cable quality, and the characteristics of the connected devices. Under certain conditions-such as using 160-170m Cat5e cables (tested in lab environments)-intermittent connectivity may occur.
To resolve this issue:
- Manually configure the connected device to operate at 10 Mbps full-duplex or enable Extend Mode on the PSE.
- Adjust the cable length to avoid the affected range.
