Product Overview
The Omada product line by TP-Link offers solutions for Power over Ethernet (PoE) network devices.
Hanya PoE Injector (PoE Injector Only)
The PoE Injector supplies stable power and data connectivity to a Powered Device (PD) via an Ethernet cable.
Diagram Description: An Ethernet cable connects a non-PoE device (like a switch or router) to the PoE Injector's data port. Another Ethernet cable connects the PoE Injector's PoE port to a Powered Device (like an IP Camera, AP, or IP Phone). The PoE Injector is connected to a power outlet.
PoE Injector & Splitter
The PoE Injector and Splitter can be used together to supply power and transmit data to non-PoE devices.
Diagram Description: An Ethernet cable connects a non-PoE device (like a switch or router) to the PoE Injector. The PoE Injector's PoE port connects to a PoE Splitter. The PoE Splitter has adjustable voltage outputs (12V, 9V, 5V) to match the non-PoE device's requirements. The PoE Splitter then connects to the non-PoE device via an Ethernet cable.
Hanya PoE Splitter (PoE Splitter Only)
The PoE Splitter can be used with a PoE/PoE+ switch to deliver DC power and data to a non-PoE device.
Diagram Description: An Ethernet cable connects a PoE/PoE+ switch to the PoE Splitter. The PoE Splitter has adjustable voltage outputs (12V, 9V, 5V) to match the non-PoE device's requirements. An Ethernet cable then connects the PoE Splitter to the non-PoE device.
PoE Extender
The PoE Extender is used to extend the network connection from PoE-powered equipment.
Diagram Description: A PoE-powered device (PSE, such as a PoE Switch or PoE Injector) connects via an Ethernet cable to the PoE Extender. The PoE Extender can then extend the connection up to 100/250 meters to a Powered Device (PD). The diagram shows two types: PoE Extender and PoE+ Extender, with power recommendations for each (e.g., POE10R: <10W (5V)/<9W (9V)/<12W (12V); TL-PD30G-M2: <10W (5V)/<18W (9V)/<24W (12V)).
