Installation
Option 1: Wall Mounting
- Drill two holes on the wall and insert the plastic wall anchors. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall, ensuring the "UP" mark is on the outside and pointing upward.
- Attach the PoE+ extender to the mounting bracket by sliding it in the indicated direction until it locks into place.
Option 2: Pole Mounting
- Secure the mounting bracket to the pole using the provided straps, ensuring the "UP" mark is on the outside and pointing upward.
- Attach the PoE+ extender to the mounting bracket by sliding it in the indicated direction until it locks into place.
Waterproofing
To maintain proper waterproofing, select the correct seal based on the actual cable type and outer diameter.
Grounding
Connect the grounding terminal to grounding facilities using the provided proper grounding wire.
LED Explanation
- Link/Act Solid Green: RJ45 port linked at 1 Gbps.
- Link/Act Solid Yellow: RJ45 port linked at 10/100 Mbps.
- Link/Act Flashing: RJ45 port transmitting or receiving data.
- Link/Act Off: RJ45 port not linked.
Connection Diagram
Connect the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) (e.g., PoE Switch, PoE Injector) to the "PoE In" port of the extender. Connect the Powered Device (PD) to the "PoE Out" port of the extender. The extender supports distances of 100/250m.
Note:
- Ensure PSE and PD devices are connected to the corresponding ports properly.
- The extender supports automatic speed downshift. When the distance exceeds 100 meters, the connection speed may downshift to 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps. This depends on cable quality and length and may take up to 20 seconds.
- For long-distance connections to IP cameras, it is recommended to enable "Extend" mode on the PSE or manually set the port speed of both PSE and PD to 10 Mbps.

FAQ
- Q1: Which devices can work normally with the extender?
A: Only PSE and PD devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at can function well with the extender. Do not use the extender with other devices to extend data transmission distance only. - Q2: Why is the Link/Act LED not lit?
A1: Ensure your network cable is in good condition.
A2: Ensure both PSE and PD devices are connected to the correct ports.
