Safety and Usage Instructions
Please read the following safety and usage guidelines carefully:
- Before installation, check the product for damage and ensure compatibility with your vehicle.
- Verify that the vehicle's rear door or wall is sufficiently solid for anchoring points.
- Do not exceed the vehicle's maximum permitted length and total weight.
- Distribute bicycle weight uniformly, placing heavier bikes closer to the vehicle wall for stability.
- Always signal the presence of the Carry-Bike on your vehicle, especially if rear visibility is reduced.
- Be aware of the Carry-Bike's presence during driving, especially when reversing.
- Comply with speed limits and traffic regulations.
- Periodically check all fastenings and straps for wear and tear. Replace worn components immediately.
- Ensure support brackets do not shift sideways or touch the vehicle's roof, hinges, or bolts.
- When opening the rear door, ensure the Carry-Bike or Bike-Block does not interfere with the roof or opening systems.
- Maintain sufficient distance between bicycle handlebars/pedals and the vehicle's rear windows to prevent damage. Remove detachable accessories from bikes (e.g., child seats, baskets) as vibrations could dislodge them.
- Be aware that the rear windscreen wiper may be affected by the bicycle's presence.
- Bike covers are not permitted on this Carry-Bike model.
- The tailgate can be opened with the Carry-Bike mounted, provided no bicycles are loaded.
- It is advisable to remove bicycle batteries before transport.
- Check rear light visibility; if obscured, use a light repeater bar.
