General Safety and Pre-Installation Checks

Before proceeding with installation, carefully check that all parts are present and undamaged. Ensure the vehicle's rear wall or door is sufficiently solid to guarantee the resistance of the anchoring points. If not, reinforcement may be necessary. Always comply with local regulations and recommendations for installation by qualified personnel.

Important Warnings:

• Do not exceed maximum permitted length and total vehicle weight.
• Ensure correct weight distribution: heaviest bikes should be placed closest to the vehicle for stability.
• Always signal the presence of the bike carrier with appropriate signage, especially if rear visibility is reduced.
• Be aware of the carrier's presence when driving, especially during reversing maneuvers, and comply with speed limits and traffic laws.
• Periodically check the tightness of all fastenings, especially after the first few kilometers and before/after long trips.
• Ensure support brackets do not shift, touch the vehicle roof, hinges, or bolts.
• Do not close the rear door if screws and brackets are not tightened.
• When opening the rear door, ensure the Carry-Bike structure or Bike-Blocks do not interfere with the roof or opening systems.
• Maintain sufficient distance between handlebars/pedals and vehicle rear windows to prevent glass damage. Remove accessories from bikes (child seats, baskets) as they may detach due to vibrations.
• The rear windscreen wiper may not function with bikes mounted. Be aware of the wiper's sweep radius.
• Bike covers are not permitted on this Carry-Bike model.
• The tailgate can be opened with the Carry-Bike mounted but without bikes.
• It is recommended to rotate bicycle handlebars to avoid damage to the vehicle wall. Fiamma is not responsible for such damage.

Assembly Instructions

The assembly involves several steps, illustrated with diagrams. Key steps include:

• Step 1: Check all components and hardware (Diagrams on pages 2, 4, 5).
• Step 2: Assemble the main frame structure using various brackets and bolts (Diagrams on pages 5, 6, 7).
• Step 3: Attach the assembled frame to the vehicle's rear door or tailgate, securing it with specific mounting hardware (Diagrams on pages 7, 8, 10, 11).
• Step 4: Install bike holding mechanisms and finalize connections (Diagrams on pages 10, 11, 12).
• Step 5: Ensure all connections are secure and the unit is stable.

Key Components and Hardware:

• Frame parts labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T.
• Hardware includes screws (U, V, W, J, X), bolts (Y, Y1, K1), nuts (Z, Z1), and washers (X1).
• Specific dimensions are provided for some components (e.g., Ø 30 mm, Ø 35 mm).

Important Assembly Notes:

• When tightening the fork to the tube, leave a 2mm space (Page 5).
• Ensure the structure is pulled down to fix lower brackets and that the fastening is steady.
• Follow specific instructions for each step to ensure correct and secure mounting.

Usage Instructions

• Load Capacity: Maximum 4 bikes, 60 kg total weight. Individual bike weight limit is 15 kg.
• Speed: Always comply with speed limits and traffic regulations. Adjust speed according to traffic conditions and load.
• Vehicle Modification: Fiamma is not responsible for damages caused by product modifications.
• Maintenance: Regularly check fastenings, rubber parts, and straps. Replace worn components immediately.
• Visibility: Use warning signs for protruding loads and consider additional mirrors if rear visibility is reduced.
• Driving: Be mindful of the added length and weight. Pay attention during maneuvers, especially reversing.
