Brakes
WARNING: Always set the brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. Never leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide down.

Verify the stroller does not move once brakes are applied. The brake indicator is red when locked and green when unlocked. To release, gently lift the brake lever.

Securing the Child

STRANGULATION HAZARD: A child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave a child in the stroller with loose or undone straps.
Harness Adjustment and Use (Type 1 and 2)
- The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with or below the child's shoulder (refer to Figure 12a). To adjust harness height, unhook the shoulder strap from the crotch buckle. Feed the strap through the harness spread slots (accessible from the rear of the seat under the fabric). Feed the strap through the appropriate slot and reattach it to the crotch buckle.
- Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over their shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness so it is snug around the child's waist and over their shoulders (refer to Figure 12b).
Releasing the Child
- To release the harness (Type 1 buckle), push the button on the center clasp; the two harness buckles will pop free (refer to Figure 13).
- To release the harness (Type 2 buckle), apply pressure to both sides of each male clip until it releases (refer to Figure 14).
