Note: The main assembly kit is AA-2586277-1. Quantities listed on page 4 are the provided inventory.
Assembly Steps
Step 1
Lay two long side panels flat on a protected surface. Insert four bracket covers (122628) into the designated holes on the inner faces of the side panels.
Tools needed: Hammer [?], Screwdriver [?], Ruler [?]. Protect your floor with a rug or blanket.
Step 2
Insert twenty dowels (101345) into the pre-drilled holes along the edges of the side panels. Then, attach the five shelves to one of the side panels, aligning the shelf holes with the dowels.
Ensure shelves are oriented correctly.
Step 3
Using the Allen key [?], attach the shelves to the first side panel. This step uses five screws (100229) and five dowels (100006).
Step 4
Attach the second side panel to the assembled shelves. This step uses ten dowels (101345).
Step 5
Insert five screws (100229) into the shelves.
Step 6
Attach the top and bottom panels to the unit. Use implied screws to secure them to the side panels.
Step 7
Slide the back panel into the grooves on the rear of the unit. Secure the back panel using one small screw/pin (101221) and one small nail/pin (105494).
Ensure the back panel is flush and square.
Step 8
Attach the side panels to the assembled shelf structure. Use one small screw (101221) on each side.
Step 9
Attach the remaining side panels. Use one small screw (101221) on each side.
Step 10
Attach a horizontal support piece across the top rear of the unit. Use one small screw (101221).
Step 11
Attach the top panel. Secure it using two screws (109041) and twenty-five small screws (101221).
Step 12
Prepare to attach the anti-tip hardware. Attach one bracket (106989) to the top rear of the bookcase using two washers (100823) and two screws (109041).
Ensure the bracket is oriented correctly for wall attachment.
Step 13
Secure the bookcase to the wall using the anti-tip hardware. Attach the corresponding bracket to the wall (ensure it is anchored into a stud or using appropriate wall anchors, not provided). Use two washers (100823) to fasten the bracket to the wall.
