The functional milling machine Activ Power J202 is a device perfect for performing manicures and pedicures. It allows efficient preparation of nails for further treatments and makes it easier to remove the remains of previous styling. Good balance of the head, well-thought-out functionality, and a multitude of available options make this milling machine ideal for professional use.

Package Includes

The package includes the control unit, handpiece, foot switch, handpiece stand, 6 abrasive sleeves, and 6 types of cutters. The control unit features a speed control knob, on/off switch, power LED, handpiece socket, foot switch socket, and a head rotation direction switch.

Connecting and Commissioning

  1. Connect the head plug to the head connection socket on the control unit.
  2. Connect the foot switch to the foot switch socket, if needed.
  3. Select the cutter that suits you and insert it into the head accordingly (refer to the 'Replacing the Cutter' section for instructions).
  4. Turn the speed control knob to the left (minimum speed).
  5. Insert the power cord into the electrical outlet.

Replacing the Cutter

Caution: Always turn off and unplug the machine before changing the cutter.

Illustrated steps show how to replace the cutter: 1. Turn the head handle clockwise until a click [lock symbol]. 2. Pull out the cutter. 3. Insert a new cutter. 4. Turn the handle counter-clockwise to lock [unlock symbol].

  1. Turn the head handle clockwise until you hear a click.
  2. Pull out the cutter.
  3. Insert the selected cutter in the same place.
  4. Turn the handle in the opposite direction to lock the cutter.
  5. You can now use the cutter.

Using the Cutter

  1. Switch the main power switch to the "1" position.
  2. Slide the "on/off/foot control" switch to "on" for manual control. The power LED will light up and the cutter will start to rotate slowly.
  3. Increase the rotation speed by turning the potentiometer to the right. Ensure the speed is within a reasonable range.
  4. If the switch is set to foot control, press the foot switch. The cutter will begin to rotate according to the speed set on the potentiometer.
  5. Change the position of the head direction switch to alter the rotation direction (clockwise/counter-clockwise).

Attention:

Permissible Speed

The permissible speed may vary slightly, depending on the materials of the cutter or its type.

A table lists maximum permissible speeds for cutters: 5mm (41000 rpm), 7mm (30000 rpm), 10mm (20000 rpm), 13mm (16000 rpm). Diagrams show cutter dimensions: 13mm diameter and 2.35mm shank.

Large cutters, even when run below their maximum rated speed, may begin to vibrate. Speed should be reduced immediately to prevent damage to the cutter, the bit, or the user.

Always use a good quality cutter.

Safety Measures

  1. This device is professional equipment for use in beauty parlors. Operation by qualified cosmetic personnel avoids undesirable consequences during treatment.
  2. Do not disassemble the device or attempt to use it for purposes other than those indicated in this manual. All service and repair work must be performed only by an employee of an authorized service center (ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o.).
  3. Do not install or operate the device near liquids, wet places, or with wet hands, to prevent liquids from entering the device.
  4. Immediately remove the plug from the socket and contact the authorized service provided by ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o. in the following cases: (a) liquid has entered the device, (b) the device emits a strange odor, smoke, or makes strange sounds, (c) the power cord has been damaged, (d) the device has been knocked over or its housing has been damaged.
  5. Do not lay any objects on the cables. Do not install the device where someone may step on the power cord.
  6. For safety purposes, remove the power cord from the outlet each time you finish working with the device.
  7. Do not insert anything into the opening of the device. If a foreign object gets into a hole, remove the cord from the outlet and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
  8. Do not place the device on an unstable cart, shelf, or vehicle. If dropped, the device may be damaged.
  9. To guarantee the stated life of the device, it is recommended to keep an interval of one minute before pressing the power button again (between switching on and off).
  10. The power supply must comply with the specifications on the nameplate. Otherwise, there is a risk of incorrect operation, device damage, or even burning.

Disposal of the Device

A symbol indicates that the device is WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and should not be disposed of with household waste.

Dispose of used electrical appliances, fixtures, and packaging at raw material reprocessing centers in accordance with environmental protection principles. Electrical appliances should not be thrown into household waste containers. Follow the rules for discarding this type of equipment. To protect the environment, in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment, waste electrical equipment should be collected separately and then handed over to collection points for waste electronic and electrical equipment.

At the end of their useful life, old appliances contain valuable recyclable components and should be handed over for reprocessing to appropriate collection points or transferred to ACTIVESHOP Ltd.

Storage and Transport

The device should be transported at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +50 °C, only in the original packaging.

Store the device in a well-ventilated room with a relative humidity of no more than 75%.

Operating temperature: +10 °C to +40 °C.

During storage and transportation, the device must not be thrown, dropped, or exposed to shock, mechanical, or atmospheric factors.
