Assembly Instructions
Safety Warnings
⚠️ WARNING: Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over.
ALWAYS secure this furniture to the wall using tip-over restraints.
To further reduce the risk of serious injury and death from tip-overs:
- Place heaviest items in the lower drawer.
- Do not set TVs or other heavy objects on top of this product.
- Never let children climb or hang on drawers, doors, or shelves.
Tools and Hardware Required
Ensure you have the following tools and hardware before assembly:
- Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
- Hammer
- Drill with drill bits (Ø 8 mm / 5/16" and Ø 3 mm / 1/8")
- Spirit level
- Wall mounting hardware (screws, plugs, brackets, anchors)

Assembly Steps
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your GULLABERG chest of drawers.
Step 1: Base Frame Assembly
Connect the main frame pieces using dowels (e.g., 118331) and cam locks (e.g., 119250). Secure with cam lock screws (e.g., 144574).
Step 2: Attach Side Panels
Connect the side panels to the base frame using screws (e.g., 146114) and dowels.
Step 3: Install Drawer Slides
Attach the drawer slides (IKEA CL and IKEA CR) to the inside of the side panels using screws (e.g., 101345).
Step 4: Assemble Drawer Boxes
Construct the drawer boxes by connecting the drawer sides, back, and base. Use screws (e.g., 101345) and dowels.
Step 5: Attach Drawer Fronts
Attach the drawer fronts to the assembled drawer boxes using the provided hardware.
Step 6: Insert Drawers
Slide the assembled drawers into the frame on the installed drawer slides.
Step 7: Attach Top Panel
Place and secure the top panel onto the assembled frame using the appropriate fasteners.
Step 8: Secure to the Wall (Crucial Safety Step)
To prevent tip-over injuries, it is essential to secure the furniture to the wall using the provided tip-over restraint hardware.
Wall Mounting Instructions:
- For solid walls (Type A): Drill an Ø 8 mm hole, approximately 70 mm deep. Insert a wall plug (e.g., 10087223) and screw in the bracket (e.g., 109049).
- For hollow walls (Type B): Drill an Ø 8 mm hole, approximately 30 mm deep. Insert a wall plug (e.g., 10087223) and screw in the bracket (e.g., 109049).
- For solid wood (Type C): Drill an Ø 3 mm hole, approximately 30 mm deep. Use the screw (e.g., 101345) without a plug.

Care and Cleaning
Carefully wipe clean with a cloth damped in a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
