Installation Instructions

Step 1: Check Package Contents

Ensure all items listed in the "Package Contents" section are accounted for before proceeding.

Step 2: Vehicle Placement

Identify the designated mounting points on your vehicle's roof. Position the mounting brackets as follows:

• Parts 836 and 837 should be placed at the front of the vehicle.
• Part 838 should be placed at the rear of the vehicle.

Note the specific parts used in conjunction with these brackets: (012-233) for 836/837 and (813-073) for 838.

Step 3: Assemble Mounting Brackets

Attach the mounting brackets (836/837 and 838) to the vehicle's roof rails or mounting points using the provided screws and washers.

Tighten all screws to a torque of 6 Nm ⚙️ using a calibrated torque wrench.

Step 4: Attach Crossbar

The crossbars are available in Aluminium with dimensions of 50x30 mm or 52x35 mm.

Align the crossbar with the mounted brackets. Insert the crossbar into the brackets as indicated by arrow A.

Slide the crossbar into its final position as shown by arrow C.

If applicable, trim any protective material or end cap as indicated by scissors symbol ✂️.

Step 5: Secure Crossbar

Ensure the crossbar is correctly seated within the bracket. A visual guide indicates correct fitting (✔️) and incorrect fitting (❌).

Secure the crossbar by tightening the fastening bolts to a torque of 5 Nm ⚙️.

Step 6: Finalize Installation

Attach the end caps or covers to the ends of the crossbar.

Push the end cap into place as indicated by arrow D.

Secure the end cap by tightening the associated screw to a torque of 5 Nm ⚙️.
