Step 1: Package Contents Check
Verify all package contents are present before starting assembly. The kit includes:
- One triangular part (labeled '500')
- Six parts (labeled '847')
- Six parts (labeled '012-233')
- Six parts (labeled '813-074')
- Two bags containing specific parts (one bag labeled 'Bag' with parts '805-029' and '810-181')
Component Identification
The roof rack system utilizes two types of aluminum profiles:
- Oval profile: 50x30 mm
- Rectangular profile: 52x35 mm

Step 3: Vehicle Roof Layout
This diagram illustrates the placement points on a vehicle's roof for the roof rack feet. It shows six designated points, with each point indicating the attachment of part number '847' and referencing the use of accessory parts '(10) + (012-233)'.
Step 4: Foot Attachment
Attach part '847' to the base. Follow the sequence indicated by arrows: insert part A, then secure with screws and nuts (B). Tighten to a torque of 5 Nm (C, D).
Step 5: Foot to Roof Bar Attachment
Attach the roof rack foot to the roof bar. Insert part A into the bar, then secure with screws and nuts (B). Hand-tighten (B). If necessary, trim the plastic strip (D) using scissors ✂️.
Step 6: Correct Foot Fitting
Secure the roof rack foot to the vehicle's roof rail. Insert part A, then attach the lower bracket (B) and tighten screws to 5 Nm (C). An illustration shows the correct method (green checkmark ✔️) and an incorrect method (red cross ❌) for fitting the foot to the roof rail.
Step 7: Foot Mounting
Mount the roof rack foot onto the vehicle. Align with the roof rail (A). Insert part C, then secure with screws and nuts (B). Hand-tighten (E) the screws.
Step 8: Vehicle Dimensions Table
This section provides critical dimensions for vehicle compatibility. A table lists various Jumper, Ducato, Boxer, and Daily models with their corresponding measurements (x, y, z in mm) for roof rack installation. An optional accessory, part number 941-109, is also indicated, with a note to add 15 mm to the 'z' dimension (z + 15 mm).

Step 9: Foot Attachment to Bar
Attach the roof rack foot to the roof bar. Insert part A into the bar, then insert part B. Secure with screws and nuts (C), hand-tightening them.

Secure the roof rack foot. Insert part A into the roof bar. Attach the lower bracket (B) and tighten the screws to 5 Nm (C). Illustrations show correct (green checkmark ✔️) and incorrect (red cross ❌) fitting.
Step 11: Foot Mounting and Cover
Mount the roof rack foot. Measure the distance on the roof rail (A). Insert part C, then secure with screws and nuts (B), tightening to 5 Nm. Attach the foot cover (D) by hand.

This section provides updated dimensions for vehicle compatibility. A table lists various Jumper, Ducato, Boxer, and Daily models with their corresponding measurements (x, y, z in mm) for roof rack installation. Note that some 'z' dimension values differ from Step 8.
