What is it?

Oxygen transmitter measures the oxygen value precisely and outputs as analog.

How does it work?

It can operate with a supply between 12 V DC and 24 V DC. Measurement values are taken from the analog output terminals and transferred to the desired location.

Rules to be Considered for Safety

  1. Always read the user manual before using the device and its apparatus.
  2. Damages caused by opening, breaking or misuse of the plastic parts of the device and its apparatus are considered out of warranty.
  3. Keep the device and its apparatus away from external influences such as liquid, high dust, high temperature, etc. and protect them.
  4. Do not expose the device cables to any jamming and pressure.
  5. Disconnect the electrical power when your device is not used for a long time.
  6. EMS KONTROL devices and apparatus should be used by paying attention to the points in the user manual. In case of damages and malfunctions arising from external use (liquid contact, falling to the ground, etc.) ask for help from the service.
  7. Failures due to electrical connection errors and electrical voltage or current errors are not covered by the warranty.

Installation

  1. Unpack the product and open the top cover.
  2. Make cable connections accordingly.
  3. If the product will be mounted on the wall, use the screws and dowels provided in the package.
  4. It starts measuring 30 seconds after the product is energized. It is recommended that the product remains in the environment for at least 5 minutes to get healthy measurement values.
  5. It is recommended to use shielded cable as communication cable to prevent communication signals from being affected by external influences.
  6. Since the communication cable will create resistance, check the measurement values again after cable installation.

Wiring Diagrams

0-10 V Wiring Diagram: Connect to terminals A (Output) and B (GND).

4-20 mA Wiring Diagram: Connect to terminals A (Output) and B (GND).

Modbus RTU Wiring Diagram: Connect to terminals A (+) and B (-).

Power Connections:

Connect 24 VDC to the positive terminal and GND to the negative terminal.

Modbus RTU Communication Structure

RS485 Baud rate default is 9600. Stop bit: 1, Parity: NONE. Default Slave ID is 85. Oxygen value is stored in the holding register at address 2 (40003). Oxygen information can be obtained by reading these registers.

Slave ID and Baud rate can be changed via Modbus communication. Write the desired Slave ID to register 0 (40001) and the Baud rate value (refer to table below) to register 1 (40002).

Resetting Configuration

To reset Slave ID or Baud rate to default values, press and hold the "Calibration" button. Wait until the Status (Green) LED turns off (approx. 30 seconds), then release the button.

Before Calibration

  1. The product is sold calibrated. Do not calibrate unless necessary.
  2. Perform calibration only when it is certain that the product is measuring incorrectly.
  3. Calibration is only carried out at the production facilities. Please contact the manufacturer for calibration.

Sensor Life - Important Criteria

  1. Sensor life is 2 years. Sensor replacement is required after 2 years. Sensor replacement can be done easily in the field.
  2. Do not expose the sensor to high volumes of natural gases, as it may cause malfunction.
  3. The sensor power connection must not be repeatedly switched on and off.

Warranty Terms

The warranty period for devices and apparatus is 2 years from the invoice date against manufacturing defects.

Devices and apparatus are delivered in working condition. On-site commissioning is subject to a service fee.

Warranty repairs are carried out at the company. Transportation and accommodation expenses for on-site services, as well as working time spent on the road, are the customer's responsibility.

Maintenance is performed at the company; transportation fees for maintenance belong to the customer.

Malfunctions are tested by the company. If manufacturer-induced faults are detected within the warranty period, the customer may request replacement or full repair coverage, not exceeding the product price.

Customer-caused faults incur all costs for the customer.

Failure to report defects within the warranty period or expected awareness period may void warranty benefits.

Failures due to misuse contrary to the manual, physical damage (beaten, broken, scratched), use of unapproved third-party devices, rusting/oxidation/liquid contact in harsh environments, transportation damage (unless insured), mains voltage/electrical installation errors, and force majeure events (fire, flood, earthquake) are not covered by the warranty.

All parts are covered by the warranty.

Repair time is added to the warranty period. Repair duration should not exceed 20 working days. If not resolved within 20 business days, the consumer may request a replacement with a similar product or a refund/price reduction if repair is impossible or time limits are exceeded.

Customers can file complaints with consumer courts or arbitration committees.

The warranty certificate must be kept. Loss of the document will result in a fee for replacement or repair.

This device is a Waste Electrical and Electronic Device (WEEE). Dispose of it according to local environmental regulations at designated collection points.
