Getting Started & Charging
Charging the Docking Station: Plug the adaptor into the power jack on the side of the base. Hide excess cord in the provided space at the back of the base. Use only the charger provided with the robot; do not use universal chargers.
Docking Station Placement: Position the docking station with 0.5m (approx. 1.6ft) of clear space on each side and 1m (approx. 3.3ft) in front. Do not place it near stairs. Ensure the power cord is taut. Always place the docking station on a hard floor, not on carpet.
Initial Setup: Turn the robot upside down and switch the power ON (I). LED lights on the robot's dashboard will blink for approximately 50 seconds.
Charging the Robot: Place the robot on the docking station, ensuring the charging plates on the robot align with those on the station. The battery symbols will blink. The robot is charging when the indicator is ON (I). A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The robot cannot charge when the indicator is OFF (O).
Battery Lifespan: To extend battery life, keep the robot charging on the docking station when not in use. For extended periods of non-use, fully charge the battery, remove it, and store it in a cool, dry place.
Operation
Starting Cleaning: Press the ▶️ button or use the Tefal Robots application on your smartphone to start cleaning. The robot will begin in boost mode.
Pausing/Resuming Cleaning: Press the ▶️ button to pause cleaning. Press it again to resume.
Ending Cleaning: Press the ▶️ button to end the cleaning cycle. If the robot started from the docking station, it will return to it upon completion.
Stand-by Mode: The robot enters stand-by mode after 5 minutes out of the docking station or 30 minutes in the docking station. To wake it up, press any button on the robot or start a cleaning session from the app.
Automatic Recharging: If the battery is low, even if cleaning is not complete, the robot will return to the docking station to recharge. The Start/Pause light will remain lit for about 30 minutes during this process. Once fully recharged, the robot will automatically resume cleaning from where it left off.
Tefal Robots App: Download the free "Tefal Robots" app from the App Store or Google Play to fully utilize the robot's capabilities. Follow the in-app instructions.
WIFI Connection Status:

Cleaning Components
- Dust Collector: Empty after each use.
- Filter: Clean once a week.
- Brush (Main): Clean once a week.
- Charging Base: Clean once a week.
- Fall Sensors: Clean once a week.
- Wheels: Clean once a month.
- Side Brush: Clean once a month.
Replacing Components
- Filter: Replace twice a year.
- Side Brush: Replace twice a year.
Specific Cleaning Procedures:
Cleaning Charging Contacts:
Turn the robot OFF (O) and upside down. Wipe the charging contacts with a dry cloth once a week. Do not use oil.
Emptying and Cleaning the Dust Box:
Open the flip cover, lift the dust box handle, and remove the dust box. Open the dust box cover from the top to empty it. Pull out the filter frame to remove the pleated filter and foam.
Gently tap the pleated filter over a bin to remove dust (do not wash with water). Rinse the foam and dust box with water and let them air dry for 12 hours. Reassemble by first placing the foam and filter, then the dust box, ensuring it locks securely (the flip cover should close fully).
Empty the dust box after every use and clean the dust box, filter, and foam weekly.
Cleaning the Main Brush:
Turn the robot OFF (O) and upside down. Unlock the brush guard using the two lockers. Remove the brush guard and pull out the brush. Clean the brush with the provided blade side (to cut hair) and the brush side (to remove debris). Reassemble the brush and guard, ensuring the rubber part is in place, and lock the guard.
Cleaning the Side Brush:
Unclip and remove the side brush. Use the cleaning brush to clean the side brush and any entanglements in its slot. Clean side brushes once a month.
Replacing Side Brushes:
Replace side brushes every 6 months. Discard old brushes and attach new ones.
Cleaning Wheels:
Clean the front, left, and right wheels monthly. The wheel shaft can get entangled by hair or cloth strips; clean it promptly.
Cleaning Sensors:
Weekly, gently wipe the robot's camera, laser window, and sensors with a dry cotton cloth to prevent dust accumulation that can affect performance. This includes the rear, left, front, and right antifall sensors.
