Installation Instructions
The installation process involves several key steps, including drilling and cleaning the hole, preparing the cartridge, and injecting the mortar. Specific procedures vary slightly depending on the drilling method (standard drill bit, hollow drill bit, diamond drill bit) and the type of anchor or rebar being installed.
General Installation Steps:
- Drill the Hole: Ensure correct diameter (d₀) and depth (h₀) as per technical tables.
- Clean the Hole: Thoroughly clean the drill hole by blowing out dust multiple times with oil-free compressed air (≥ 6 bar) or flushing with water for underwater installations. Brushing is also required.
- Prepare Cartridge: Remove the sealing cap and attach the static mixer. Place the cartridge into the dispenser.
- Extrude Initial Mortar: Dispense approximately 10 cm of mortar until it achieves a uniform grey color.
- Inject Mortar: Fill approximately 2/3 of the drilled hole from the bottom up, avoiding air pockets. Use extension tubes or injection adapters for deep holes or specific diameters.
- Install Anchor/Rebar: Insert the anchor rod, internal threaded anchor, or rebar into the mortar-filled hole, turning slightly to ensure full contact. Ensure excess mortar extrudes around the element.
- Support (if needed): For overhead installations, use wedges or clips.
- Curing: Allow the mortar to cure for the specified time (t<0xE1><0xB5><0xA3><0xE1><0xB5><0xA3>) based on temperature.
- Mount Fixture: Attach the fixture once curing is complete, respecting the maximum torque (T<0xE2><0x82><0x91><0xE2><0x82><0x99><0xE2><0x82><0x9B>).
Note: Always refer to the specific tables and instructions for detailed parameters related to your chosen anchor size and application.
