Temperature and Curing Times
The working time (twork) and curing time (tcure) are dependent on the ambient temperature. The following table provides typical values:
Temperature [°C] | Working Time (twork) | Curing Time (tcure) |
---|---|---|
-10°C to -5°C | 6 h | 72 h |
-5°C to 0°C | 2 h | 24 h |
> 0°C to +5°C | 45 min. | 12 h |
+5°C to +10°C | 20 min. | 6 h |
+10°C to +15°C | 8 min. | 3 h |
+15°C to +20°C | 5 min. | 2 h |
+20°C to +25°C | 3 min. | 1 h |
+25°C to +30°C | 2 min. | 45 min. |
+30°C to +40°C | 1 min. | 30 min. |

General Installation Guide
The following steps outline the general installation process for Fischer anchoring systems. Always refer to the specific product tables for exact dimensions and parameters. Key steps include:
- Drill Hole: Drill the borehole to the specified diameter (do) and depth (ho) using a hammer drill or rotary hammer.
- Clean Borehole: Thoroughly clean the borehole using a brush and an air pump or vacuum cleaner to remove all dust. This is crucial for optimal load capacity.
- Inject Mortar: Dispense the injection mortar into the borehole, starting from the bottom. Ensure the borehole is adequately filled.
- Insert Anchor: Insert the anchor rod, threaded rod, or reinforcing bar into the mortar-filled borehole. Rotate during insertion to ensure even mortar distribution.
- Cure: Allow the mortar to cure for the specified time (tcure), which depends on the ambient temperature.
- Apply Load: Once cured, attach the fixture and apply the specified installation torque (Tinst).
