Terms and Conditions for the Competition – Mystery Box 2025

1. To be eligible to participate in the competition, you must be 18 years or older and reside in Denmark, Finland, Norway, or Sweden. Each participant can only win one (1) prize. Each participant may only submit one (1) entry. Samsung employees (and their immediate family and members of their household) are not eligible to participate in the competition. The competition is not sponsored, supported, or administered by Facebook or Instagram. Therefore, any entry is received and handled by Samsung.

2. To participate in the competition, you must complete the full "handraiser" form at www.samsung.com/dk/unpacked and consent to receive direct marketing from Samsung with information about upcoming product launches (an "Entry"). The Entry must include the following information: name and email address. If multiple entries are received, they will be ignored by Samsung.

3. The competition starts on June 24, 2025, and ends on July 7, 2025 ("Competition Period"). After the end of the Competition Period, one (1) winner in each country (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden) will be randomly selected by Samsung via a draw among all valid Entries. The random draw is final and binding.

4. The prize consists of an offer for a gift card that can be used on samsung.com/DK, valued at DKK 20,000 including VAT. The value in the shopping cart must be at least DKK 20,010 for the gift card to work. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. A prize may be taxable for the winner in accordance with the applicable national legislation in the winner's country of residence. The winner is responsible for reporting the prize value and paying all taxes in connection with the prize, including, but not limited to, income tax, to SKAT or the authority that administers the tax.

5. The winner will be notified and contacted by Samsung via email no later than August 10, 2025, with instructions on what the winners must do to receive their gift card. Winners will also be announced on www.samsung.com/dk/unpacked. If the winner fails to claim the prize (as stated in the instructions in the email from Samsung) by August 10, 2025, Samsung may choose another winner from the other participants. Participants grant Samsung the right to publish the names of the winners on www.samsung.com/dk/unpacked and any other website within the Samsung group.

6. You hereby guarantee that your Entry is your own original work. You are solely responsible for all submitted/uploaded images and for obtaining all necessary rights, approvals, and consents from third parties that may be included in your Entry. An Entry must not mention persons or information about persons unless the participant has obtained such person's prior approval. Samsung strongly recommends not to upload material that you do not have all rights, licenses, and consents for. Samsung is not responsible in any way for the image, e.g., potentially racist, violent, sexist, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content or violation of Samsung's policies or brand values.

Samsung reserves the right to remove any material that (i) in any way infringes or is likely to infringe a third party's intellectual property rights, (ii) in any way is illegal or contrary to Samsung's policies or brand values, (iii) in any way does not comply with the terms and conditions set out in this document, or (iv) which Samsung, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate.

7. To participate in the competition, you must provide Samsung with certain personal information. This is described in Samsung's privacy policy:

Such personal data will be collected, processed, and stored by Samsung for the purpose of conducting and administering the competition (including contacting and announcing winners). Samsung Electronics Nordic AB, reg. no. 556445-4345, P.O. Box 1235, 164 40, Kista, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing of personal data. Samsung uses applicable data protection legislation when processing personal data. In accordance with applicable legislation, you have the right to request further details about the information we collect about you, and to request us to correct inaccuracies in this information, to object to or request restriction of processing, and to request access to or deletion or portability of your personal data. By participating in the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledge the processing and storage of your personal data as described in the privacy policy.

8. Samsung reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify entries that Samsung deems do not comply with these terms and conditions and any other document referred to herein.

9. For the competition, Danish law applies to Danish participants. Disputes arising from the application of these competition terms will be handled by an ordinary court. Participants may also contact the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints and the Consumer Complaints Board to have the dispute tried to the extent that the board is competent to try the dispute.
