Samsung Mystery Box 2025 Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

To participate in the competition, you must be over 18 years old and reside in Denmark, Finland, Norway, or Sweden. Each participant can only win one (1) prize. The competition is organized by Samsung Electronics Nordic AB (“Samsung”). Employees of Samsung and their family members are not allowed to participate. The competition is not sponsored, administered, or associated with Facebook or Instagram in any way, meaning competition entries are received and handled by Samsung.

2. Entry Requirements

To enter the competition, you must complete the entire entry form at www.samsung.com/se/unpacked and consent to receive direct marketing from Samsung with information about upcoming product launches (“Entry”). The Entry must include the following information: full name and email address. Each participant is allowed to submit only one (1) entry. If more entries are submitted, they will not be considered by Samsung.

3. Competition Period and Winner Selection

The competition starts on June 24, 2025, and ends on July 7, 2025 (“Competition Period”). After the Competition Period, one (1) winner will be selected in each country (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). Winners will be selected through a random draw among all valid Entries. The random draw is final and binding.

4. Prize Details

The prize for the winners is a voucher that can be used on samsung.com/SE, valued at SEK 25,000 including VAT. The value in the shopping cart must be at least SEK 25,010 for the voucher to function. The prize cannot be exchanged, for example, for cash. The prize may be taxable for the winner according to applicable law in the winner’s country of residence. The winner is responsible for reporting the value of the prize and paying any prize tax, including but not limited to income tax, to the relevant tax authority.

5. Winner Notification and Prize Claim

Winners will be contacted by Samsung via email no later than July 31, 2025, with instructions on how to claim their voucher. Winners will also be published on www.samsung.com/se/unpacked. If a winner fails to claim the prize (according to the instructions in the email from Samsung) before August 10, 2025, Samsung may select another winner from the remaining participants. Participants grant Samsung the right to publish the names of the winners on www.samsung.com/se/unpacked and on other websites within the Samsung group.

6. Participant's Responsibilities and Content Guidelines

You hereby confirm that your entry is your own original work. You are solely responsible for all necessary rights, permissions, and consents from third parties that may be included in your entry. If the entry mentions individuals or otherwise contains information about individuals, their consent must have been obtained by the participant. Samsung advises participants against uploading material for which they do not have all rights, permissions, and consents. Samsung is not responsible in any way for the content of the entry and its potential racist, violent, sexist, disturbing, or otherwise inappropriate content, or its violation of applicable law or Samsung’s policies or brand values. Samsung reserves the right to remove any material that (i) infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, (ii) is illegal or violates Samsung’s policies or brand values, (iii) in any way breaches these competition terms, or (iv) Samsung deems inappropriate at its sole discretion.

7. Personal Data and Privacy

To participate in the competition, participants must provide certain personal data to Samsung. This is described in Samsung's privacy policy for competitions:

This personal data is collected and processed by Samsung solely for the purpose of administering the competition (including contacting and announcing winners). Furthermore, upon Samsung's request, winners must provide their personal identification number to Samsung, and Norwegian citizens must also provide a copy of their tax card for Samsung to fulfill its obligations to the tax authorities. Samsung applies current privacy legislation in the processing of your personal data. You have the legal right to receive information about which personal data we process about you and to correct incorrect personal data, object to or request restriction of our processing of your personal data, and request access to, deletion of, or transfer (so-called data portability) of your personal data. By participating in the competition, you accept these competition terms and confirm that you are aware that Samsung processes your personal data as stated in the privacy policy above.

8. Disqualification

Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these competition terms and the documents referenced herein.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

For the competition, Swedish law applies to participants residing in Sweden. Disputes arising from the application of the competition terms will be tried in a general court in Sweden. Participants can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) to have a dispute tried, provided that the board is competent to try the dispute.
