Ergotron LiFeKinnex™ Firmware Over-the-Air Update

Automatic Firmware Updates

The 4-Bay Charger checks for firmware updates during power up or every 24 hours if plugged in. Firmware will update automatically when the following conditions are met:

1. All batteries need to be removed or fully charged when firmware update is available.
2. Charger needs to be plugged in and connected to WiFi.

Manually Run Firmware Update

Follow these instructions to manually run firmware update:

1. Remove all batteries from charger and unplug power cord before starting.
2. Plug in the power cord to turn ON charger.
3. Wait for the device to connect to the WiFi.
   • Go to the eKinnex web portal to verify the charger is connected to the WiFi.
   • eKinnex web portal: https://lifekinnex.ekinnex.com/login
   • If it doesn't connect to the WiFi, use the LifeKinnex setup tool to program network credentials on the device.

4. Firmware download will start automatically. Wait for download to complete (takes about 30 min). The system will turn OFF, then back ON after the firmware update is complete.
5. Verify the updated firmware version on the eKinnex for CareFit & LifeKinnex web portal. https://lifekinnex.ekinnex.com/login
