1. REMOVE INTERNAL PACKAGING
Diagram Description: Shows the process of unpacking the cabinet. It includes a "TEAM LIFT" symbol indicating the need for two people, followed by three steps (a, b, c) illustrating how to carefully remove the cabinet from its packaging.
2. MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS
Space Requirements:
Diagram illustrates the required vertical and horizontal clearances for mounting the cabinet. It also specifies the maximum dimensions and weight for individual tablets or Chromebooks that can be housed within the cabinet: up to 11.9" (302 mm) long, 8.5" (215 mm) wide, 1" (25 mm) deep, and weighing up to 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
Mounting Height: Recommended mounting height above the floor is 62"-68" (158-173 cm).
When mounting to a wood stud, at least one screw in the upper mounting bracket must be installed in a stud (preferably the center hole).
3. Mounting Options (Wood Stud / Hollow Wall)
Choose a Hole Option: The stud can be located at one of five mounting holes on the top bracket. The first option (center hole of bracket) is recommended. Consult a construction professional for the best method for your situation.
- Hole Option 1: Recommended Center Hole in Stud
- Hole Option 2: Extreme Left Hole in Stud
- Hole Option 3: Extreme Right Hole in Stud
- Hole Option 4: Middle Right Hole in Stud
- Hole Option 5: Middle Left Hole in Stud
Installation Steps (Wood Stud / Hollow Wall):
Step b: Find a stud and draw a mark.
Step c: Put a mark on the stud 62"-68" (158-173 cm) from the floor.
Step d: Place the template on the wall, lining up the chosen hole with the stud and the height mark (62"-68" from floor).
Step e: Level and secure the template to the wall with tape.
Step f: Drill the three holes for the top bracket corresponding to the chosen hole option, then drill the bottom two holes.
Note: Use a Ø 3/16" (5 mm) drill bit for wood studs. Use a Ø 1/2" (13 mm) drill bit for hollow walls for anchors. Use hollow wall anchors where screws do not directly enter the wood stud.
Step g/h: Insert anchors (if needed) and attach the bracket to the wall according to the chosen hole option. Verify the wall bracket is level before tightening screws.
3. Mounting Options (Concrete)
Step a: Put a mark on the wall 62"-68" (158-173 cm) from the floor.
Step b: Level and secure the template to the wall, aligning the chosen mounting holes with the mark.
Step c: Drill the top 3 holes, then the bottom two holes using a Ø 3/8" (10 mm) drill bit.
Warning: Mounting holes must be at least 3-1/8" (80 mm) deep and located within solid concrete, not mortar or covering material. If drilling into non-solid concrete, reposition holes until anchors can be fully inserted into solid concrete.
Step e: Insert anchors into holes, then attach the mounting bracket. Verify the wall bracket is level before tightening screws.
Warning: Anchors not fully set in solid concrete will not support the applied load, potentially leading to injury or damage. Consult a professional if unsure.
4. Hang Unit Onto Top Bracket
Warning: 2 people are required to lift this product.
Diagram Description: Shows two people lifting and positioning the cabinet onto the already mounted top bracket.
