Introduction
The Kasa Smart Bulb is part of the Kasa smart home family, offering adjustable brightness, energy consumption tracking, scheduling, and timers. It can simulate sunrise alarms and group lights for easier control and scene creation. The Kasa app allows control of multiple smart home devices, with voice control options available via Amazon Echo, Dot, Tap, or Google Assistant. The smart bulb requires no hub, simply connecting to Wi-Fi after downloading the Kasa Smart app.

Set Up Your Smart Bulb
Follow these steps to set up your smart bulb using the Kasa Smart app:
Step 1. Download Kasa
Get the Kasa Smart app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2. Connect to Network
Connect your mobile device to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

Step 3. Add Device
Tap the [Add button] ⊕ in the Kasa app and select "Smart Bulb KL100 Series". Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Main Device Controls
After successful setup, the Kasa app's Home Page lists your smart bulbs and other connected smart home devices. You can instantly turn bulbs on/off or change colors.

Tapping on a specific Smart Bulb navigates to the Smart Bulb Page, offering more detailed configuration options.

Configure Your Smart Bulb
On the Smart Bulb page, you can adjust light temperature or color (for KL130), set schedules, track energy consumption, and change device settings.
Presets and Recents
Tap the [Color adjustment icon] to add presets and apply recently used settings to your smart bulb.

Create Event
Tap the [Schedule icon] ?️ to set schedules for your smart bulb, creating automatic On/Off actions to simplify your daily routine.

Usage
Tap the [Usage/Energy icon] ? to view and track your bulb's energy consumption.

Create Scenes
A scene is a preset group of smart devices that can be programmed, customized, and activated simultaneously with a single tap on your smartphone or tablet. Scenes allow you to easily set the mood, activity, or automate actions for special occasions.

Discover Kasa
Use the Kasa app to pair your Smart Bulb with Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant for hands-free control. Kasa also integrates with services like Nest for home automation triggers (e.g., when you arrive or leave home). For detailed instructions, navigate to 'Add Device' > 'WORKS WITH KASA' > 'Nest Home and Away / Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant' within the Kasa app.
