Cutting Around Obstacles
STIHL SuperCut™ head: Features fully automatic, double-line operation for efficient trimming and mowing, maintaining optimal line length automatically.
TrimCut™ head: A manual-feed nylon head ideal for mowing low-growing grass near solid obstacles.
For Small Weeds
AUTOCUT® head: Utilizes double line for large area work, advancing nylon line by tapping the cutting head on the ground. An EasySpool™ version is available for simplified line reloading.
STIHL PolyCut™ head: A versatile cutting tool fitted with three thermoplastic blades, suitable for trimming large areas.
Fixed line head: A manual nylon line head using pre-cut line lengths, perfect for trimming along edges, walls, and fences.
For Large Weeds
STIHL PolyCut™ head: Continues to be a universal cutting tool for large areas, equipped with three thermoplastic blades.
Metal blade: Constructed from steel with 8 teeth, designed for cutting thick, dry weeds and reeds.
For Brush, Small Trees
Circular saw blade, scratcher tooth: Made of steel, this blade is effective for cutting gnarled bushes and thin tree trunks.
Brush knife: A steel blade designed for thinning and clearing tough, tangled weeds, undergrowth, and scrub, capable of working horizontally and vertically.
Circular saw blade, chisel tooth: Steel blade suitable for gnarled bushes and thin tree trunks, depending on trunk diameter and cutting techniques.
Important Safety Information
IMPORTANT: Improper use of brushcutters/trimmers can lead to serious or fatal injury. Always read, understand, and follow safety instructions in the owner's manual. For safety during blade contact, circular saw blades should only be used on FS brushcutters with bicycle handles and double shoulder harnesses. Ensure proper eye protection is always worn. Use the correct deflector for the cutting environment as specified in the owner's manual.

Nylon Line Information
STIHL nylon lines are color-coded to easily identify their thickness, which varies based on performance class and operating conditions. Available diameters include .065" (1.6 mm) to .130" (3.3 mm), along with commercial line options.
STIHL utilizes a custom blend of tri-polymers for its nylon line, ensuring excellent abrasion resistance, flexibility across temperature ranges, and resistance to welding.
