The STIHL AUTOCUT C 25-2 is an EasySpool™ mowing head designed for STIHL trimmers and brushcutters. It is ideal for lawn trimming, working around trees, between shrubs, and along edges, walls, and fences. The maximum recommended operating speed is 10,000 r.p.m.

Safety Information

Warning: Objects may be thrown or ricochet in all directions. To reduce the risk of injury to the operator, never operate a trimmer without a properly mounted deflector. Keep bystanders at least 50 ft (15 m) away.
Eye and Face Protection: To reduce the risk of eye injury, always wear goggles or safety glasses that meet ANSI Z87.1. STIHL recommends wearing a face shield or face screen over goggles for additional facial protection.
Hearing Protection: To reduce the risk of hearing loss, always wear hearing protection.
Component Integrity: To reduce the risk of injury from broken parts, check the condition of the trimmer head at regular short intervals. Do not continue using broken or damaged tools.

Assembly and Line Loading
The AUTOCUT C 25-2 features the EasySpool™ system for efficient line management. It is designed to work with 2.4 mm (0.095") diameter cutting line.
Line Loading Procedure:
- Prepare Line: Cut the trimmer line to the appropriate length. For spool type A, use approximately 8 meters (26 ft). For spool types B or C, use approximately 4 meters (13 ft).
- Feed Line into Spool: Insert one end of the trimmer line into one of the eyelets on the spool.
- Wind Spool: Rotate the spool in the direction indicated to wind the line evenly onto it. Ensure the line is loaded neatly and securely.
- Insert Loaded Spool: Place the loaded spool into the mowing head casing. Align the line eyelets on the spool with the corresponding slots in the mowing head body.
Head Assembly and Operation:
The AUTOCUT C 25-2 mowing head is attached to the trimmer shaft. The cutting line is automatically fed out from the spool as it is used during operation. Ensure the deflector is correctly fitted to the trimmer unit before starting work. The approximate cutting diameter achieved with this head is 120 mm (5 inches).
